Bloodwork, Any Advice on Prolactin?

Hi All,

Just had my latest blood back and would love to hear anyones thoughts, been taking 0.06ml Enthanate 4x per week, until this week when they’ve swapped me over to Cypionate.

Waiting for a follow-up with them, but should I be concerned with any of the numbers? The liver numbers scare me, I don’t drink alcohol regularly or excessively, and the prolactin worries me a lot.

Thanks in adance.

Thats a volume not a dose. You either need to provide the concentration of your dose or the actual mg you are taking for anything to make sense.

Good point, sorry. I think the vials are 250mg/ml, so i’m taking 15mg. Not much at all, we kept reducing the dose every six months to get my test to the level it is at now.

Do you have any lifestyle or dietary reasons for having a slightly stressed liver? Alcohol consumption (you said no)? Smoking? What do you eat?

Prolactin is slightly elevated, not egregiously. I would be less concerned with that than liver.

Is this a pattern with previous labs? If its a one off that would be less worrisome than repeats.

Thanks for your reply. Liver is really weird.

So, it was about 60 18 months ago, 90 a year ago- the test flagged it. Had another test in Jan and got 105- panicked. Gave up alcohol completely. Feb 130- read nicotine could have an effect and quit vaping. It dropped down to 102 in April and 96 in May.

Stupidly started using nicotine patches and pouches in July, no vaping, no smoking, so I am wondering if the nicotine is having an effect. I like nicotine, but am concerned with that

Food wise, I am boring and healthy. Cut down eggs to 5-6 a week, eat meat, greek yogurt, lots of protein shakes, protein yogurts etc, very little alcohol, little carbs etc Little to no junk food, maybe once a week, follow 16/8 eating windows etc.

I had been getting high creatine levels in my tests, but this one it was back to normal and for the last 3 months i’ve taken salts and creatine supps every morning when I wake up. Walk 7-8 hours a week, gym 2-3 times a week, had been cycling weekly, but the weather and feeling low energy has meant I’ve not been doing that. Really trying to lose weight so watching what I eat closely.

I installed a CGM last week to see what my blood glucose is like, and it has been in range constantly since, other than a chicken pad thai after the gym on Friday which pushing it very briefly high.

Hope that provides some detail?
