Bloodwork After 12 Weeks

Hey, first of all thanks. I’ve gained a lot of knowledge from the forum and appreciate all of the information. This whole thing would be next to impossible without hearing about everybody’s experiences and expertise. I’m looking for some feedback as I’m new to this. 50 year old guy 12 weeks into TRT. It’s been a little bit of a roller coaster, I started with HCG mono therapy for 12 weeks leading up to starting trt, my HCG doses have ranged from a high of 500iu 3x per week to the current of 500 iu 2x per week. I think my Estradiol is causing some negative sides (acne, emotions, poor libido) but have not taken any AI’s as of yet. The testicular atrophy and low sperm volume have been a bummer along with some really bad joint pain. I have had some glimpses of positive effects and feel like I’m on the edge of getting a good protocol. My plan is to try .25mg of Anastrozole 1x to see if I can observe any lowering of the negative sides and narrow down the Estradiol as the cause. Not looking to start an AI debate just looking for any thoughts from the guys who have been doing this for a long time and have the expertise. Does anything seem really out of whack ?

50 years old - 12 weeks trt - weights 5x per week - clean diet 5 days per week
150mg Total Test Cyp 50mg M/W/F
500 iu HCG M/F

Bloodwork is 3 days after injection
Total T = 857
Free T = 275.1
Estradiol = 67 (was 76.1 at week 8 and with a higher HCG protocol)
FSH = .9
LH = .2
Hematocrit = 44
Chol/HDLC Ratio = 3.4

They did not test for SBGH unfortunately - I have access to all the supplements or add ons mentioned on the various threads on the forum, have not taken anything other than what is stated above as of yet. I’m open to NPP and anything else that may work. Thanks, appreciate any guidance.

Prolactin = 8.1 ng/ml

i am 48yrs. started using 4.5yrs ago. my advise, monitor your labs close. i went the entire time without monitoring and got into some trouble. luckily not permanent.

everybody responds different. i feel much better with less. i started at 250mg week sub q test E and now starting over at 75mg per week. i can already feel a difference with sex drive, energy and mental shit.

watch labs and do not think more is better. less usually is!

good luck man, its a fun run!

Thanks, appreciate it. You’re right I was thinking about upping it to 180mg per week. Appreciate the advice.

Too much or too little testosterone can cause problems and sometimes less is more. When I was on injections, sustained high levels caused joint pain caused by fluid retention.
