Blood Tests, 48m

I probably have some bloat. But I definitely feel a lot better than before.

Can’t wait until arimidex lowers it to the 20s then. It will be great.

Well, they did prescribe arimidex, but only 1/2 mg per week.

That’s not very much for someone in mid 60s estrogen.

I don’t think.

I’m self injecting starting soon.

psyched!

Yeah. That’s a low dose.

I’m thinking splitting the HCG into twice a week @ 200 from once a week @ 750iu will lower estrogen some. As well as losing weight, which test is helping.

I’ve heard that subQ injections of test lower estrogen as well too.

Are you doing the hcg to preserve fertility or the size of your testicles?

It’s too low for fertility. Probably a tad low for the boys as well

What about 250 iu E3D?

Right now it’s 750 once per week.

I will split it 300iu twice per week or so.

Which raises the issue of my post today. It’s coming PRE MIXED. And it’s good only for 28 days after opening. 2 vials. 5ml / 5,000 iu each.

So each vial is good for 7 weeks as to how I’m dosed but I am to throw it away after 4 as it’s no good. Why not 3 vials at 3,000 iu each? Then that’d be perfect! Last me 3 months instead of 2. Save me money. They don’t do that.

Very strange.

I have a call into CVS/Caremark as to whether they cover HCG etc.

I had THOUGHT they gave you bacteriostatic water and you mix it yourself. That way you can mix only what you need. But I guess not. $60 every two months is steep, I think, just for hcg.

I’m skeptical of the pre mixed stuff. The only way you’ll know for sure is to pee on a pregnancy test first thing in the morning.

where do you get the non-pre mixed stuff? How much does it cost?

Also I upped the arimidex, I’ve lost some bloat.

I get the hcg in powder form from my compounding pharmacy where I get my T cyp and Adex. They ship the bacteriostatic water and a syringe. My rx is for ten weeks and all three with all the syringes and needles cost $200 for the ten weeks. I don’t know the breakdown of the individual meds.

what is the compounding pharmacy? I’ll have to check their prices.

And I’ve taken 1/2 mg of arimidex twice already since Friday (today is Wednesday). I’ve definitely lost some bloat but still have pain in my chest.

His prescription was for 1/4 mg twice a week, so I’ll probably be 3x that. There are enough pills to last 12 weeks though.

Hope it doesn’t hurt in other ways.

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to say the name of the pharmacy. It’s in Franklin, TN and its name is three initials.

Ask to have it shipped dry. Some pharmacies think that they need to do that for you.

There is a CF in TN that only ships wet, claiming that there formula is more stable.

hCG is good for 80 days when refrigerated properly.

Obviously not the one I use.

The expiry dates are simply made up and are not based on any studies of potency over time. FDA requires something so they make up a number or see what others have stated.

BA water, 0.9% benzyl alcohol prevent any bacterial growth. Should not be sterile or saline water.

Many here use 10,000iu vials at 250iu EOD that lasts 80 days and we do not see reports of any obvious potency fade.

I draw all my syringes up when I reconstitute the hcg then freeze the syringes. I figured that was better than leaving the reconstituted vial in the fridge for 10 weeks.

They give 2 vials, 5000 iu each. Said once opened a vial only lasts 28 days, something like that. Which is sad. Maybe give 3 vials 3,300 iu each? Won’t do it.
5,000 iu would last 40 days weeks @250 eod. I’m hoping this will solve some E2 problems as opposed to 750 once per week, which I had been doing.

I would think powder and mixing it yourself would be better. For one thing the mixture doesn’t take well to shaking from what I read. So shipping pre mixed is iffy. Also has to be refrigerated, so again difficult. Mix the amount of powder you will use for 28 days and presto, easy.

This pharma doesn’t ship powder for some reason, only pre mixed. Only costs $49 plus S&H for 10,000 iu though.

First injection last night. Went OK.

They were doing both injections IM with a 22 gauge.

They gave me 18 gauge to draw and 22 to inject. And the pharmacy provided some. I’d like to do HCG SC, so I’m buying some 29 gauge needles. 1/2", 1cc. I wonder if the 18 gauge drawing needles will fit on the syringe. Hope so. Don’t want to dull the needle by sticking it through the stopper.

The test, I’m not sure about. I would kind of like to try some SC, somewhere I read that SC is into fat and since that’s where the aromatase lives, that’s not good. Plus the oil is harder to push through a 29 gauge.

Injecting in my glute was a little tricky. Some say use a 25 guage 1" and inject into a quad. I wonder if you could use even smaller needles there.

What do you think?

The difference between the 18 gauge and 22 gauge was stark. (Just looking not injecting with the 18). So I’d think the 25 gauge must be very thin.

You can inject T sq with a 29g 1/2 it us what I use. There is no advantage to intermuscular injections. So those long fat needles are not needed. No your 18g will not fit on an insulin syringe

Sq injections if anything have better results. The absorption is slower. Should produce less e2. That was my result from switching to sq injections

How do you get the oil in the 29 gauge insulin needle?

Where do you do the injection. I was doing it in my hip kind of love handle area. But I read within a few inches of navel is better.

I’m getting some 25 gauge needles so I could use those.

#29 is slow to load, hang it by the vial and come back, injecting speed is OK. Do not get 1.0ml as it will inject slower that the small piston of 0.5ml.

Fat at injection site is saturated with T and that small amount of fat cannot do much T–>E2

Just trust the advice here and do not over think things, best practices are offered here based on what guys have done for years with good results.

Needles do not get dulled going into the vials, find something else to worry about.
