Blood Results Back, Help?

Just got my results back, just curious to see if anything stands out.

Symptoms : fatigued, brain fog low sex drive, joint aches and depression when I get fatigued. I don’t have these symptoms for a couple of days a week. But for the most part I feel this way most the time.

Diet is reasonably clean for 4 to 5 days a week, exercise light high rep weights. Can’t go heavy as much as I would like as I have golfers elbow in both arms. I try and fast for 3 days a month( seems to help with symptoms for a day or 2.

Did temp tests for thyroid for a week am and pm temps came back as what it says in the sticky.

Cheers in advanced people

Your testosterone is low and it is very low for your age. You’re going to want to get it up towards at least the high end of the range given. Free testosterone would be good to have, but it won’t be great given your total. You should also have the following tests:

Lipids
CMP
IGF-1
Estradiol
SHBG
PSA
Prolactin
Free T3
Reverse T3 (if you have hypothyroid symptoms)
DHEA-S

With the low t levels am I secondary as fsh and lh are low?

I have an appointment with a trt doc in Australia, so hopefully I can get all the tests mentioned above.

You are secondary, you need more testing as labs are inadequate for someone about to start TRT. If your doctor ordered theses labs, you can tell a lot about a doctors knowledge by the labs ordered and this one will be unable to manage your TRT do to missing labs.

Yeah I’ll push for all the mentioned above blood tests when I have the appointment.

Is it possible to do a test only 12 week cycle and try for a restart after the cycle is complete.

You have a disease which requires TRT, it is for life, no restart is needed because your levels are low. There is no need to preserve geriatric testosterone levels.

A typical restart is for some who has normal healthy testosterone and is looking for more muscle and wants to blast, then do a restart to get his more than adequate natural testosterone going again.

Disappointing to know that this will be for life

@systemlord when you say my levels are to low, do you mean fsh and lh or testosterone

You’re thinking about this the wrong way. If you were diabetic and starting insulin, you would be happy that its treatable and you can lead a normal life. This is no different.

When you start feeling right you’ll be wishing you had done this sooner.

Your testosterone levels are low, LH is not the best and really is inconsequential because your still have low T. You basically have the T levels of health elderly men, lower than President Trump.

So I have this all wrong, I thought having low lh and fsh meant that they were not signing the testes? So can you restart the lh and fsh to signal a rise in T?

Im just dissapointed that I’ll be on it for life and have to create my life around trt to feel better. It’s also a relief as everyone thinks I was using low t as an excuse and said it was All in my head haha

You’re well below the cut off point for cardiovascular disease at 374, well below the 480 mark as reported in the study. The problem is you’re dealing socialized medicine, government doesn’t push the boundaries of medicine, they are behind everyone else.

Testosterone Threshold for Increased Cardiovascular Risk in Middle-Aged and Elderly Men:

The locally weighted regression showed that total testosterone levels of 440 and 480 ng/dL were associated with increased Framingham CVD risk and an increased probability of increased hsCRP, respectively. Men with sexual dysfunction (poor sexual performance, decreased morning erection, and loss of libido) had significantly greater CVD risk.

Restarts work when the cause of low T is addressed, I seriously doubt you have access to a doctor that could figure it out, so chances of finding the cause is close zero. You can restart using clomid which will raise LH and testosterone, but you will likely feel exactly the same or worse.
