Went to donate blood last week, for a couple reasons - selfishly, because from what I understand it’s just a healthy thing to do, and not so selfishly, because I’ve read that HRT blood is valued even more than regular blood in terms of…well, in terms of something. More less it’s just a decent thing to do.
BUT…when they asked me to list my meds, I did - and I found this interesting. The test-eth was fine, the hCG was fine, but it was the anastrozole that prevented me from doing so.
Luckily, I can just delay one of my 0.25mg doses by one day and that gives me the minimum 3 days without it to qualify, but I found it interesting that they block based on the drug “potentially being harmful to the recipient”.
