They also threw a commensurate amount of tea in to the bay to match the unique and unconstitutional tax levied on them, per the aforementioned constitution. Aside from the tea sending a profitability message in direct proportion to an illegal tax, the only personal property they destroyed were padlocks on the ship storeroomsā¦ and they replaced them the next day.
