Explains part of the mess. Done while Whitman was in office

So much for the myth that both parties are to blame for the various states that are in debt.
The dems own this one:

“Of the 10 states in the worst financial condition, eight are among a total of 23 defined by Gallup as “solidly Democratic,” meaning the Democrats enjoy an advantage of 10 percentage points or greater in party affiliation. These states include the ones listed above as making up the bottom five, plus Massachusetts, Ohio and Wisconsin.”

Good shape? He is the last living Oompa Loompa walking the Earth? What, because he isn’t fat? Do a gram of blow a day and you will have hawt abz too.

Come on now, all of them spew hate for ratings…just from opposite ends of the field.

Oh and Max, love ya but keep your impoverished masses out of Utah…okthankspreciateit.
UL,

I know this is a special subject for you, which is why I wanted to share it with you. Just when you thought you had to pay for your sex change operation, don’t. Come to Berkeley, let the tax payers take care of it. Yes Lama, that sex change operation you have always wanted it about to be paid for by the people, no I am not kidding…

He is an insult to pot heads. The founding fathers thought the Bible was bullshit? Yeah right which is why they spent a great deal of time studying it. The letters between John Adams and Thomas Jefferson were mostly about God and religion. Yeah, they must have thought is was bullshit.
A grass roots organization brought forth from the people by the people would hate them? Yeah, right, they loved that shit; they recommended it.
John Adams was really, really religious. Most of the founding fathers were deists, but still religious.

Most of the important documents of the U.S. are full of religious overtones. Freedom of religion is the first amendment…

I thought it before but now I am convinced, Bill Maher is dumber than mule shit.

Bill Maher’s not a comedian. Have you ever heard him say anything funny?
Nope.

Pick your side and spew your little packaged rhetoric, Righties. You’re no different than the left, and stop pretending you are.
So, by admission you are deep in his ass? I listen to no one…

Bill Maher is correct that the founding fathers were elitist and intellectuals. But he is of course glossing over many things. Were they elitist? Yes. They did not think everyone should be able to vote and this is why there used to be a requirement that you owned property. How could you understand liberty if you never owned anything and never had to rely solely on yourself for your bread?

The majority of the founding fathers were also quite literally violently opposed to the type of government interference in daily lives that we see now. There were more than a few founding fathers and each had their own nuanced view, but it is safe to say most all of them barring Adams would be stunned and ashamed at the level of government we have now. Many did not want a standing army, Washington decried “entangling alliances” and meddling in other nations affairs, Jefferson thought that the government was at best a necessary evil that should be constrained at all costs. Hardly the type of folks Bill Maher would consider “intellectual” by today’s standard.

The founding father’s adhered to a strict logic and rational line of thought, by and large. This pretty much ensures they would piss both the left AND right off if they came back to life today.

I am still waiting for Irish to stick to his old rhetoric and join the Army because he supports Obama’s war in Afghanistan.

Until he practices what he preaches he should really not try to insult anyone in PWI.

Oh and Maher is a comedian, or at least he pretends to be because I have never laughed at any of his jokes.

Yea, that’s got something to do with this thread.

I am still waiting for the blowjob barn to be able to stay on topic for more than two pages.

That sums it up pretty well the thread could end at this point.

What if you don’t like Maher or people like Rush? Why does it have to be the extremists?

I am still waiting for Maher to be funny, and say anything relevent. Lets wait together shall we.

And you will have to explain the blowjob barn part, considering we have great people on the left such as florelius,DBcooper, and forlife. Great people, get into heated debates with them, yet still enjoy talking to them. Also perhaps you missed that Zeb and I get into it about a bunch of different topics.

Just because we don’t like/respect you does not mean we do not like/respect other members.
orion wrote:

Orion that was hilarious - I can’t remember the last time I laughed that hard over something posted on this site (not counting FightinIrish’s political posts of course). They’ve captured Maher’s very bitter nature quite well.

I don’t care whether you like or respect me. You’re nothing to me.

And if you’re counting yourselves among the same ranks as Zeb, who’s exhibited nothing but disgust and disdain for a segment of the population based on their sexual preference alone, you’ve got a long and miserable time ahead of you.
