That’s always the dodge when he gets called on his crap. “He’s just a comedian.” A comedian who sticks his left wing nose into politics every chance he gets.
I’m not saying I agree with him if that was your impression fyi.

Why do you Lefties insist on being the party of hypocrisy?

What Maher doesn’t get, is that this country is not as Left as he is, yet feels compelled to insult the country for it. What Obama knows (and what Maher misses) is that the people will not vote for such a Leftist agenda, which is what was seen last November.

So while Maher is butt sore because we are not living in 600 square foot homes, taking electric vehicles and public transportation to work, eating organically grown food sat and prayed on by Buddhist monks, Obama knows that he doesn’t have the votes to pass such a bullshit agenda.

Something you should know about the Hollywood crowd here Irish, 99% of them are fake bullshit tree-hugging hypocritical liars, who use their fame to advance their film career. It’s the people screaming for the green movement, yet who drive Hummers, Escalades, and Range Rovers.

Carry on worshiping a guy who’s greatest claim to fame was from the movie D.C. Cab.
I’m glad you wrote all that, it was phenomenally done, very eloquent, worthy of a pulitzer for exposing frauds.

Too bad it had shit to do with what was said in that clip.

I see comprehension is still sorely lacking in this forum…
Since Maher is all for tax hikes on the rich, why doesn’t HE donate a very large portion of his earnings to government or charity ? Notice how he thumps his chest for a certain cause, he is nowhere to be seen doing it himself ? Did you see when the Republican strategist made the statement, “this is Los Angeles, not the real world?” Do you know why, read on and find out…

Irish, you are on the ass end of the country on this issue, we have the most obscenely Leftist agenda going on here in California, and we are first up for going off a cliff. The very agenda Maher wants, we have here. The largest social entitlement program in the country, the 2nd highest taxes in the country (Illinois which raised their taxes by 66% recently is 1st.) We have a statewide Global Warming Law which has raised our energy costs by 20% and continued to go further up. The softest immigration policy in the country. The worst schools with the highest paid teachers in the country. The largest contingent of state government employees in the country.

What does it take for you to get it man ? You should be grateful you have someone like Chris Christie, who has the sack to make the tough decisions to keep Jersey alive. California is beyond fucked, and guess who is gonna help us out?.. YOU Irish.

Yes my friend, we are asking for a Federal Bail Out, and it looks like we are going to get it.

“I want to thank all the little people, mainly you Fighting Irish, for giving us your tax money for our shitty decisions. I know, I know, why should you pay for our mistakes? Because all you rich (which is anyone making over $47k/year in Cali) HAVE to pay for the poor and downtrodden, otherwise you are racist, classist, xenophobes.”

What’s funny to me is you still don’t understand that there is no “planning” for the natural order. It just happens so long as people don’t interfere with other people. But even still you don’t get it.

Bill Maher serves as a tool of the elite to keep the simpletons ignorant.

Frankly, as long as he keeps your kind docile you are no threat to us.

Like I said, just stay out of the way…
Give it time Orion, give it time… The only possible savior for gas prices is how much folks in LA love their cars.

You mean that the left is no different from the right with regard to their hate filled spew of rhetoric?

But I thought that the left was full of intellectuals who “advance the conversation” and a bunch of other smug buzzwords to describe themselves.

Yeah, kinda. I just picture a bunch of decadent dinner party types gasping in feigned disbelief at fuel prices, all the while bubbling with giddy delight as they splash the good stuff around in a frenzy of conspicuous consumption.

Makes me feel left out.

The point has flown over your head my friend. That is exactly what I, and others, are saying. Hypocrites like Maher on the left, bash Palin, Bush and the others with the nastiest sort of verbiage one day and then the next day spout off about all of the right wing hate speech. Of course each side bashes the other, it’s politics. But only one side is hypocritical enough to blame the other for exactly what they too are doing.
MaximusB wrote:
First, I don’t think you have any idea how much he donates to charity or how much he doesn’t. You’re saying it cause it sounds nice, but I doubt you know.

Secondly, if he’s willing to give up the money in taxes to fund different social programs, its feasible that he’s going to get something in return for the money he’s going. THis is wholly different than a charitable donation.

I don’t like when people get on others about giving to charity or not. It’s his money, just like it’s Rush Limbaughs or fuckstick Palin or whomevers. They can do what they like with it, but being willing to give up money for taxes is different, and they shouldn’t be judged on it.

But see, it’s all too easy for you guys to just blame a democratic agenda when it’s not true, and most people have no idea about state politics or how their state ended up in the hole its in.

I can’t talk about Cali because I don’t know and frankly I don’t care, but in all honesty it’s probably your politicians of BOTH parties that have fucked up your finances- not the agendas of one party or another.

For example- NJ isn’t fucked because of a Democratic agenda, even though we’re one of the most liberal states in the country. We’re fucked because lovely Gov. Whitman- a REPUBLICAN, who gave out homeowner rebates based on expected revenues from monies invested in the stock market. When the market crashed, guess what? NJ took it in the ass.

And who’s the one that made the budget smaller two years in a row? Jon Corzine. A democrat. So honestly, state politics are way more dependent on which individual is screwing you as opposed to which party.

Tennessee is broke as fuck too. Guess who runs that state?

So while your propaganda sounds lovely, it’s simply wrong.

Please man. Property taxes are skyrocketing from Christie’s proposals. I think that some of them may help out in the long run, but for right now, everyone is paying more because if the state isn’t taking out of one pocket, they’re taking out of the other to cover it. Some things he’s doing are good, but some are not so good. But one thing it isn’t doing is taking down taxes, and he’s got an $11 billion budget to close this spring, which means he’ll cut more state aid, and things are going to get even worse in this state.

You know what’s driving the costs up the most in NJ? Health insurance costs. You know what republicans don’t want to go near except to repeal the parts of Obama’s plan that will help lower these costs? Health Insurance. So until something is done about that, costs will keep rising regardless of what ANY governor does.

So really, don’t talk to me with your rhetoric. I do this shit for a living, I’m not some weekend warrior that picks up the Weekly Standard and throws darts at pictures of Obama.

Well, it’s better than describing yourself as a “common man” and jumping in a pick up truck around the corner from your rally because you don’t want to be seen coming in in the limo you really came in.

And LIKE THE FUCKING VIDEO SAYS, the founding fathers… were rich, smug, highly educated intellectuals and elitists. No one talks on the video though, funny, because I thought we had so many teabaggers here.

Don’t worry, we will be right there with you, and soon. Watch what happens with this Global Warming bullshit that we passed. The state government will cap emissions by making it really fucking expensive to drive here.

Irish,

I used to work in the film industry, I know EXACTLY the type of prick he is. This is the guy who will criticize those who follow religion, yet bash people who hate gays. Talk about tolerance by example.

As far as charity goes, SAG staged one of the biggest strikes when unions were asked to take a cut in pay for budget reasons. Yes, how dare you ask an actor to make only 100k per episode.

Why does a pot smoking health thumping prick insist that people eat better, yet he is notoriously open about his weed habit? Why do other people’s lousy eating habits take a front seat to his pot smoking? Lungs are not meant to see any form of smoke, so why does he bash people for their love of McDonalds ?

Corzine was getting lubed by the teacher unions, the same way Schwartzen-failure was, you have the same pension problem we do. And you took the same approach to fixing it, your boy taxed the ever living shit out of people to make the ends meet. At least Christie told teachers to fuck off, which was the right thing to do. Here in Cali, Arnold asked teachers to take a 4% pay cut. Yes, only 4%, and they said no. So guess what, they got laid off, now they make 0.

Nut-Meg Whitman was a RINO, she is a 2 faced bitch who changed her tune too many times. That is why she lost here, and a fool could run Ebay. Ebay is self sustaining for the most part, consumers make it go TBH.

Political ideology is why your state, as well as mine, is failing. Maher is a half-witted moose knuckle, the only remaining munchkin from the Wizard of Oz. He doesn’t understand that when you tax the shit out of those who bring in wealth, they leave to more tax friendly states. Guess which state is doing the best right now… Texas. They have the lowest taxes and have increased private sector jobs in the midst of this meltdown. Something to consider.

Once again, I don’t give two fucks about Maher’s personal habits. It makes NO FUCKING DIFFERENCE. I’m talking about what he’s saying in that clip.

And once again, when times were good, there was no problem with the teachers. It’s been the bad times that have caused us to blame teacher’s unions. Although they deserve their fair share of the blame, it still doesn’t compare to what the Republicans did to this state. Call Whitman what you will, but she did two things that Repulicans love doing- giving rebates, and depending on the free market. And that’s what fucked us.

It is not political idealogy at all. It is political greed and bad mistakes on both sides of the aisle. If you can’t admit that, you’re too far gone into the depths of the GOP Blowjob Barn for me to bother arguing with you.

And just as an aside, Maher himself looks like he’s in pretty damn good shape for his age. Again, don’t mean anything, but smoking pot don’t look like it killed him. He also quit smoking cigarettes a long time ago as I recollect.

HAHA I love me some PWI.

Is it not obvious to everybody that Maher, Oberman and Maddow are exactly the same as Rush, Beck and Hannity…

Come on now, all of them spew hate for ratings…just from opposite ends of the field.

Oh and Max, love ya but keep your impoverished masses out of Utah…okthankspreciateit.
