In Michigan’s Upper Peninsula they call this Monday. The two seasons of the U.P., winter and bad sledding.

HAHA, yep. I live south of TO and we got nothing this year. States are getting it all.
Make the best out of a bad situation. It’s Moosehead beer so this has got to be a Newphies house.
This is the most snow I have seen my whole life in Texas. Carports are droppin like flys in my apt complex. Poor bastards parked underneath are gonna have a bad day tomorrow.

No, that is from the street light. We were very fortunate to have power through the whole thing. There were transformers arcing and blowing up all over the place too.
My fire wood is stacked in the side yard next to the car. I’m just glad it didn’t become necessary.

All of the downed trees are taking power lines with them. One of my wife’s employees just got her power back yesterday. It had been off since Saturday.
We have 1 inch here…
The roads seem clear but it’s a 1/2 inch lair of pure ice on the road so all the cars skid all over the place.
And I skid all over the place on my dirtbike and crashed the sumamabitch.
Yeah, South central PA got hit hard. I have 4 feet in my backyard from the two storms. My son and his friend played out in the backyard and made all sorts of tracks from the first snow. After the drifting and new snow, you cant see any tracks. I have snow 8 feet high all the way down both sides of my driveway.
And to top it all off - the gym was closed yesterday and tomorrow they wont have the kids gym open so since I have to bring both boys with me, I cant go.

Well, how much do those kids weigh? Stack those dudes on top of each other and do some OHPes!
I live in Canada and there’s no snow at all. I think this has to be one of the mildest winters of my life.

Yeah, I have college friends whose parents went to NMU up in Marquette. They remember going sledding out of second story windows on trays from the commissary. And they would have keggers (drinking age at that time was 18) and would put the keg in the snow piled up outside the first floor dorm windows to keep it cold.
