If you’re being called “beefy” you’re probably closer to %16 (or higher) than %9. I’m of the belief that the older you get, the later in life you’ve started training, the leaner you need to be in order to be impressive. Otherwise, you’re just another “beefy” old dude with some muscle that can only be seen with your shirt off.
Even on a cycle it’s tempting to keep eating because the scale is going up and your clothes are getting tighter, but it’s possible to overeat while juicing as well. If you have a gut or love handles, focus on losing that and getting shredded. Then you’ll look like a jacked 35 year old. Otherwise, your just another beefy middle aged dude.
The good news is, once you start to get definition in your delts, chest, etc you’ll look better than %99.999999 of your cohort.
