This case has happened a few days ago. But what used to happen last year and the year before, when a black man claimed self-defence? What would have happened had the Zimmerman case not happened FIRST? Especially in a place like Arizona which has a lot of race issues. They could, and I wouldn’t be surprised if they did, sympathize with Zimmerman and are just using this case to show that the law isn’t racist.
