Birthers are Crazy

Jewbacca,

I don’t disrespect Catholicism at all, I have in fact, been a very good Catholic and raised my children that way as well, I do support the rights of others to be bad Catholics, or Baptists or Jews or Muslims, I feel that everybody has the right to suck at their religion if they want.

By the way the jam bit is a joke, the statement Cortes made that I shouldn’t be getting me some Sunday wafer is based on his faulty understanding of my beliefs so I chose to poke fun.

The most clever thing about liberals is they love to call out conservatives as hypocrites because conservatives (at least social conservatives) strive to have morals, and being human, sometimes fail.

Liberals (who are really totalitarian libertines), on the other hand, have no morals, and that is their defense — “hey, we admit we have no morals, so don’t blame us!”

My understanding of Christianity is obviously limited, but I understand that the communion wafer is the Christian version of the Paschel sacrifice.

Theological differences asisde, G-d certainly grades on intent and effort, and you appear to be failing.

The fact that you reject the beliefs of your Church in this regard, and consider it a mere “wafer,” is telling and Cortes is correct you should not be participating.

Jewbacca,

I have a feeling I am a better Catholic than you think, I don’t just talk about God, or go to church on Sundays, I volunteer, I assist, I am present and I am involved. If you are saying that because I call it a wafer I am not qualified to receive it, I would let you know it is called a communion wafer, I was worried you folks would think I typed in Communist instead. Now since you obviously have no idea about my beliefs other than what you think you know, I will tuck your apology in my pocket for later.

Undoubtedly true, but a stawman.

The issue here is there is ample credible information that Obama lied about being born in Kenya, from multiple sources (old newspapers, school records, magazine articles, even his wife said it).

The issues are: (1) why did Obama lie about his birth? and (2) Is Obama going to apologize for being the source of the myth and confusion?[/quote]

This is what I would like to know.

He talks about smoking weed and doing “a little blow” in college…and yet no outrage. (not that this really bothers me…but Bush got crucified for the same thing)

Our media gives him one hell of a pass.

You see Jewbacca helping the poor, “being involved” is the way that hypocrites like B r i a n get to feel good about themselves while at the same time claiming that abortion is a woman’s choice, and that homosexuals should be allowed the sacrament of marriage.

All we have to know is that you call yourself a practicing Catholic who does not follow Church or Biblical doctrine. And around here we call that hypocrisy. But you help the poor and are pro government spending on the poor which has not helped them–Which leads us back to the question you’ve been ducking

Dumbfuck.

You’re either a troll or a contemptible excuse for a human. I have no desire to waste any more time on either.

Cortes,

wow, very eloquent, I shall put this in my diary. good luck with the anger.

ZEB,

Are you stalking me? Do I have to lock up my underwear so you do not run off with it?
Seriously, I don’t just work with the poor, I help the stupid as well, possibly the next time I visit Candyland I will stop by the Peppermint Forest and teach you how to read for content. Queue spittle.

Volunteering and helping people doesn’t make one a Catholic. I do that stuff, and I’m very much not Catholic. Believing in and attempting to live by the teachings of the Catholic Church does.

You have to be trolling, it’s the only thing that makes sense at this point…at least some of the left minded folks around here make lucid points, Irish for example.

You really don’t have anything going for you, logically, literally or otherwise.

Yet you act like you do…strange.

utah,

welcome. i find it fascinating that a group of people that post their extremist nonsense, and casually disregard the rights, beliefs and freedoms of others, get their panties in a bunch as soon as someone says anything that does the exact same thing back to them. My first post was about healthcare, no name calling, no attacks directed at posters etc. The first response was an attack on me, not my post, i assumed that these are the rules of engagement on this board. For example I have not once interacted with you however your response is:
“You really don’t have anything going for you, logically, literally or otherwise.”

Personal don’t you think? Attack the posts maybe, not the poster. And I have a literal shit ton going for me, the first being that I have no problem posting under my real name, I’m sure you see the value in that. I say what I say and I do not hide behind a screen name like “UtahLama” or “ZEB” or any of the other nonsensical crap you fellows use. Anybody can be an internet smartass posting inflammatory crap all over the world, but if you lack the sack and courage of your convictions to put your name with that shit it matters about as much as a fart in the forest. Enjoy your day and stop by anytime Mr. Lama.

doubleduce,

congrats on that.

I’ve always found the internet brings out the best in everyone.
Or was that worst?
Ah, fuck it…

Well considering I have been posting in this forum for 10 years, I will let your obvious lack of perspective slide.

I am a social liberal and a fiscal conservative…so I would prefer that you do not lump me in with those who have to take a side on one side of the aisle or the other.

I was calling out the poster (you) because you do not seem all that intelligent (sorry) and your obvious attempts to bait people instead of answering questions is a sign of trolling.

I keep my screen name because I have had it for a very long time…using your own name on an internet forum is a sign of great stupidity, not intelligence.

I look forward to your departure from this forum, or if you insist on posting in every single thread…at least a increase in actual points or answers to questions.

lama,

fascinating. I am posting in five threads all of which I have an interest in (and now mostly in response to other people like you), I did not know there was a limit, someone should have told me I was “hogging the internet”. I am not involved in the other hundreds of threads. I made my initial civil posts, they were met with something not quite civil in response I guess I should have turned off my computer and gone outside, but I did not.

I have no real quarrel with you (at least I didn’t) but you’re being kind of a dick. I haven’t started one hostile exchange on this site (though I happily respond to them) so right now I am willing to just let our current interaction slide. As far as posting with my real name, I think you are a little bit off base, I don’t answer to a boss and as of yet I have not lied, so speaking my mind offers me very little in the way of consequences, hiding is very rarely a sign of great intelligence and being forthright is very rarely a sign of stupidity (war and hostage situations notwithstanding).

Your first post in this thread was childish, illogical, and insulting all while adding little to nothing to the actual topic of discussion.

You think it’s a laughing stalk that nobody really knows the truth about this guy, his origins and his sealed college records?

Obama is actually a made-up person. His life was put together like a quilt but ineptly. I do not know who the person is who calls himself ‘Obama’ but he is not the person described by these fabricated records. I am totally serious.

Notice how he says ‘corpse-man’ or ‘Pah-kee-stan’. No American speaks like that. I know he’s not an American. He’s obviously the product of some sort of longterm training camp, perhaps actually in Kenya.

I wonder who he really is. It WOULD be cool to find out.

A brilliant post! Kudos!

Liberals become liberals because they want to get away with something their guilty consciences wouldn’t permit otherwise.

They thus become pure evil.

All I was saying (this was after observing you diving into threads and offering not much in the way of substance or depth)…is, if you are going to post this frequently, please address points directed at you and don’t just lob back something you saw on Maddow’s show last night.

I like many liberal leaning posters on this site like Mufasa and Irish for example…they actually argue substance.

I also like reading posts from ThunderBolt and JewBacca…they both address every question and give logical intelligent answers.

The take away I am trying to get across to you is…if you are going to post in every thread…try and contribute something other than propaganda.

We already have one Pittbull, we don’t need another.

Democrats have a very broad base. Broader than the republican base. I’m not saying republicans are one-dimensional, just not as multi-dimensional as the democrat party. I usually vote democrat, but I’m independent. The groups I disagree with the most are those demanding a free lunch and social issues like abortion. Basically, I’m generally socially conservative and economically conservative leaning towards the middle economically.

For reference, the democratic party as a whole is socially liberal and economically conservative and republicans are socially conservative and economically liberal. In other words, democrats believe in social free for all and republicans believe in economic free for all speaking in simplistic black and white terms which admittedly is far from %100 correct.

The point I’m making is that you can’t with any accuracy make broad sweeping statements like that. If I were to use the same logic, I would say that republicans become republicans because they want to alleviate their guilty conscience from wanting to hoard all the wealth at the expense of the middle class and society thus becoming evil.

But I know better than that and I know it’s not all black and white. Even Bill O’Reiley recognizes not all issues are black and white. By the way, I feel he is a man worthy of much respect, much more so than the likes of John Steward and some other ‘liberals’ whatever that means now.

simplicity=/=correctness
Sure simplify as much as possible, but not to the point of being wildly inaccurate.

I’ll step down from my soapbox now.
