i just wanna know how much more powerful hydroxy-7 is than methoxy… and how much more efficient

Spencer, the current Methoxy-7 can give the same results as the new Hydroxy-7. But you have to use twice as much, and because of shorter duration of action, would have to take four times per day instead of twice to keep consistent blood levels.

Methoxy-7 is just very expensive to use at the most effective dosages, because they are pretty high.
Too expensive for probably 95% or more of users, at least at maximum effect (not bad if used at lower doses for moderate effect.) Hydroxy-7 fixes that problem and gets the cost/benefit ratio to something we’re much happier with.

Friscomack, using Nandrosol instead of Androsol would solve your sleep problems. Nandrosol does not have nearly the CNS-stimulating effect Androsol does. Some people do not like this, but others, especially those who have problems sleeping with Androsol or other androgens, find it a great feature.

John Berardi, when’s Surge gonna be ready? I can’t wait any longer!

Forgive the skepticism, but what differentiates Surge from the usual high-glycemic dextrose/maltodextrin, whey protein, and BCAA post-workout shake that’s been working for us for years? I keep asking and can’t get a straight answer.

About Surge vs. A generic drink…The difference is the fact that with Surge we’ve included several free form amino acids that are very insulinogenic. In addition, the BCAA proportions are in the ideal ratios to promote protein synthesis. It has been shown that in some situations only a few essential aminos are more effective than whole protein at increasing protein synthesis. However we went the route of adding hydrolysates to be sure. These are MUCH more rapidly digested and absorbed than regular whey.

Akicita: I doubt John Berardi will argue that knowledgeable individuals can’t put together a post-workout drink that is for the most part as effective as Surge. Further, although I myself don’t plan on using it, it would appear that the difference between Surge and a homemade blend would be (1) simple convenience and (2) an optimal degree of efficacy as a result of John’s research, development, and testing efforts. To some people, either one or both of these factors will justify the cost of any product. (For example, I – and, no doubt, many other people including yourself – could easily make an equivalent of Androsol that would be nearly as efficacious for a slightly lesser price, but I don’t want to deal with the hassle nor do I want to sacrifice gains due to the “nearly as efficacious” qualifier.) I’m not trying to take any sides here, just posting a personal observation…

Thanks for the replies! A follow-up: couldn’t my body simply pull the quantities of AA’s it needs from another whey powder that’s augmented with AA’s? I hope you understand my questions as indications of my skeptical enthusiasm, not of criticism, because let’s face it–Surge offers enormous benefits, but it’s pricey. I want to KNOW that it works, objectively, in addition to Tim’s applause for how it makes him feel. I do appreciate your patience in helping me understand the product.

The Grow bars would be nice. Any word on these?

maybe i missed it, but are the aminos in the surge drink (leucine:isoleucine:valine) ratio 9:1:2?? From my understanding, that is the way the body uses those aminos in that ratio. just curious…

I’m also dying for T2, N-17E and T-17E to come out. If I get them and get good results then you can bet that my male athlete clients will be using them.

Has any one who has preordered surge recieved it yet? I am craving mine.

For those asking about when certain supps will be available, I was just talking with Tim when someone stuck their head in the door and told him the truck full of Biotest Surge was on its way right now to the warehouse. Also, T2, the pro-thyroid supp, should reach headquarters next week around Wednesday (the 18th). Tim says it will ship out to those who ordered it the day it arrives. For more info on Hydroxy-7 and a few other things, read the current (issue 152) Behind the Scenes column at T-mag. Hope this helps.

T2 on the 18th? Happy Birthday to me! (feel free to help me celebrate the big 30 by tossing in gifts of your choice, of course!)

N-17E, Surge, and T-2 are at the top of my list. I have already pre-ordered Surge and T-2 and anxiously await their arrival. I received my confirmation email today for the Surge and T-2, so they should be arriving any day now. I can’t wait any longer.
