I love this thread for the mere fact that we are discussing the best way to “put a supplement in your mouth and swallow it”

Also facko, I have noticed not only does Biotest Leucine taste better than bulk, but it is a much finer texture than a lot of the clumpy bulk brands, its almost like a less chalky creatine

lol so true!

Come on y’all we’re living up to the label of “meatheads” by having to explain how to put a powder in your mouth and swallow with water. Haha too fuuny.

Yeah, it does taste good or as good as tasteless powder can in your mouth. For me it was just getting used to dumping a scoop of powder in my mouth and then drinking it down. For my morning dose I use a Spike Shotgun to help slam it down and it’s good this way.

Crew, thanks for the tip, I’ve been getting more of it in this way then previously trying to remember to sprinkle it on my food.

I would love to say I helped a level 5 guy with taking his supplements, but I believe I stole it from NewDamage.

Ha, it’s cool friend. One can always use a good tip regardless of it’s source.

The pump I get on shoulder day and arms day is already painful. I gota save up some money and pick some of this leucine up and see what happens. If im able to save up the money I want to stack:

ReceptorMax
Leucine
Anabolic pump
Alpha Male

…taking donations.
I wish Anabolic Pump had worked on me like some of the reviews I read. Instead it gave me diarrhea. I know it was the AP because I tried it again a couple months later and it had the same exact effect.

I’ve been wanting to take leucine but every time I order supplements I forget to put it on my list… I’ll remember next time!

you meatheads are too funny- i curently take BCAA’s (12 tabs a day)and never have i felt such painless recovery - i wanna try l-leucine
Over 1/3 of your BCAA tabs are already L-leucine if I got it right, so you have already tried L-leucine supplements.

However, if I am mistaken, what is the difference?

This thread is funny as hell, but I too have to say thanks. Pouring the powder in the mouth and swigging down some water is the definite way to go. I think I got some strange looks in the restaurant last night when I did it though.

I take creatine monohydrate that way. It doesn’t have a taste and it ensures you get every last bit. Not to mention it’s much faster.

What is the point of faster uptake of creatine?
What matters is that as much as possible gets into the muscles before degenerating into creatinine.

Unfortunately, I don’t know what effect faster/slower uptake will have on creatinine conversion in the endocrine system.
You want to keep your creatine levels high so they can store a lot of energy, and they will not deplete very quickly anyways.

But enough about creatine, this is a L-leucine thread. Anybody here that have tried using both BCAA and pure L-leucine that could care to share some of their experiences?

I think you over-analyzed the creatine comment.

I’m pretty sure SeVeReSoLDiER just meant that it is faster to take creatine by simply pouring it in your mouth as opposed to mixing it into a solution.

Ah, I probably did  The fastest for me is just mixing it in my shake, as a already get my buckets of protein/carb. Hides most of the taste pretty good too.

I always use Biotest BCAA’s around training, first thing in the morning and before bed. I now have been using L-Leucine with at least three meals per day. I have been making pretty good muscle and strength gains as of late.
