I notice it has a “recommended use for loading”
I thought loading creatine had been thoroughly debunked?
Am I missing something here? Or is there just some kind of labelling requirement Biotest has to comply with regardless of the facts?
This just in: loading is no longer stylish and has no effect other than wasting your creatine. We’ll have to wait until next season for loading to come back into fashion.

If what you have is micronized Creapure creatine, it’s not.
What are you trying to say? That only Biotest has miconized Creapure? What makes you so sure? I haven’t even said what brand I was using.
I believe he is saying that the Biotest-brand of creatine is not better than yours, if your brand of creatine is a micronized Creapure brand.
They are on the same level of creatiny goodness.

The only other brand that I know that claims to use german grade creapure
is P*****s. So is their product on the same level as Biotests?

If their claims are valid. I know more than one brand, but maybe you can’t get in Europe.

“Drink immediately after mixing.”
How long after mixing will creatine keep? I generally mix up a serving of Surge before going to the gym and drink it after my workout. (The hour or so that it sits seems to improve the consistency and flavor of Surge, IMO.) If I mix creatine into my Surge and let it sit for an hour, will this “degrade” the creatine in any way?
An hour is fine. It would be a cool experiment to add your creatine just before you drink and see what happens. You may grow a third arm, but that in itself would be cool.[/quote]
LOL! Never mind the third arm: if my third leg grows as a result, I think we definitely have a winner here.
I’m taking this product as Biotest’s endorsement of regular monohydrate over the “high tech” deals like ethyl ester and such. I have read Barr’s creatine article, however, I am curious if there have been any recent studies or evidence to point to the inferiority of esterfied creatine.

LOL how recent does it have to be? Barr’s article IS recent.
Thanks for the insight. I guess I always thought of Biotest providing specialty items. And really it is, but I was taken off edge because I wasn’t sure the difference between the creatine I’m taking now and Biotest. I’m sure Biotest’s is superior to mine, but I didnt want to have to dump out a few tubs. I do look forward to buying it in the future though.

I don’t think inferior. But not superior. And more expensive. Therefore unecessary. Therefore, a waste. Therefore, why buy it?
Can anyone who has used it tell me how well it mixes? I upgraded to a micronized version of the brand I was using before and the new stuff is like sand. It doesn’t dissolve and it falls out of suspension so quickly after shaking that I end up leaving half the dose in my shaker bottle. Plus, it makes my shakes gritty.
If the Biotest brand mixes well I’ll just dump my old stuff get a bottle when Flameout is back in stock.
Now all I need from Biotest is a good multi-vitamin/mineral supplement and it will be a one-stop shop!
