Sam Harris just posted a rebuttal to that Vox article I posted earlier that attempted to refute Charles Murray’s the Bell Curve .A neuroscientist joins the list of people with asinine views
You realize the largest influence on people thinking your views are asinine isn’t because you view IQ as important. It’s because you believe IQ = success to such a level that you would like to see America close its borders to these “low IQ people.” You also seem to refute the thought that IQ is influenced in a great way by environment compared to heritage.
People haven’t even admitted blacks tend to be less intelligent than whites and a substantial portion of that gap in intelligence is genetic not environment.
Because “people” don’t blinding agree that IQ is the end all be all metric for intelligence (especially since you can’t define race). Also, since the majority of scientific research doesn’t point to genetics = intelligence it would be weird if people blindly followed that mantra.
People like you are the exception, as it reinforces the thoughts you already have and you like to ignore evidence that doesn’t agree with you, even when you’re the one posting it.
You don’t have to agree with me. That’s the glory of your position. You’re so far into the minority that you’ll spend the rest of your life watching cultures and races integrate and there’s nothing you can do about it.
Feel free to keep pushing junk science for junk reasons without understanding half of it. The evolution of society will eventually weed people like you out.
Argument: By your own logic, your existence in this country lowers the standards of White NW European culture that you claim is the best on the planet. By remaining in this country, you clearly don’t care about its success moving forward as you are actively contributing to its decline.
Side Argument: You care about race but can’t define it.
The argument is that you do not care about this country as you are actively making it worse by your own logic.
This is not a definition of race, but an explanation as to why the concept exists. If this was a definition of race, it would accurately place a human who is 33% Asian, 33% White, 34% black. Feel free to tell me what race the above person is if your quote explains that and I missed it.
If the sentence can’t answer my question it doesn’t comprehensively define race. Unfortunately neither can you, so at least you have something in common with that sentence
A subspecies is defined in the animal kingdom. Being able to define it is what makes it a subspecies.
I fully understand, accept, and acknowledge that races exist. I’ve said as much many times now in this thread. My stance is that due to the intermingling of our “subspecies,” it’s practically impossible to define race in a way that can be accurately applied to a randomly chosen human.
Which would matter a great deal if humans weren’t capable of completely changing and living in any geographical environment on earth. Since that’s not a barrier to humans the way it is to most of the animal kingdom, you run into problems defining things. I would genuinely love to be wrong. If I’m wrong, then please answer my question. What race is 34% black, 33% asian, 33% white.
If genetic tests are done on a group of people who are 99% European and then a group that’s 99% sub Sahara African, those results do not magically become irrelevant because there isn’t currently a name for someone who is mixed race
