Biology of Race

What about Tay-Sach’s disease for Jews

or

Sick cell anemia for Sub-Saharan Africans

Only people of European ancestry have blue eyes. Is that not a trait specific to a racial group?

Key term here is: “entirely unique.”

Meaning: must affect every single individual within the said group and only individuals within that said group.

Who has claimed intelligence isn’t affected by genetics?

I can’t wait for this.

This is what I’m talking about

What exactly are you arguing? That there are no racial differences between groups? Or there are no racial differences that are completely unique to them?

Genetic discovery found to influence obesity in people of African ancestry

I seriously do not have the time to hold your hand and help you sound out these words while you read. Stop being a lazy intellectual and exercise that reading comprehension.

HA HA HA HA HA HA

You literally are just arguing some very narrow point to obfuscate. You don’t deny there are racial differences between groups and really all that I care to discuss.

Honestly, why did you post this?

*What do you think this tells us?

I mean… I acknowledged ages ago that there are genetic tendencies amongst races. So…

Do you have an example of anyone on this board that believes genetics contributes 0% to intelligence?

Edit: better question, have you figured out how to define race yet? (inb4 dog metaphor that isn’t defined either)

At the end of the day, my point in this thread to explain that race isn’t some social construct, that humans aren’t a liquid that take the shape of whatever container you put them in (society).

There are racial differences in intelligence, personality, height and these differences have a genetic component to it.

^ If you don’t deny this, I don’t really have any interest in going further

It’s a social construct based on biological tendencies. End. Of. Thread.

And you have failed miserably. And I mean miserably.

Yeah embarrassingly bad. I am as embarrassed as those who’ve been trying (and failing miserably) to close the black-white achievement gap for 50 years.

Any day now!

You can not “explain” this because you can not control for the thousands of environmental factors that directly affect every single one of the things you just mentioned.

That is the “point” like 12 people have been trying to help you understand.

50 years ago the Civil Rights Act hadn’t even been passed…

?

If it’s based on biological tendencies then it’s a biological construct.

LOL

Edit: Social construct means there is no meaningful biological differences between races

No. It’s a social construct that seeks to rationalize biological tendencies.

Biological tendencies that aren’t even universal among a “group” or “race”.

Essentially every social construct is based on realities found in fields beyond sociology. That doesn’t make them constructs of those respective fields.
