Have you ever even met an adopted kid? Any kids that have spent time in foster care are there for a really compelling reason. Either their parents died, or more likely their parents were abusive and neglectful.
Kids that end up in foster care don’t spend their formative years being tucked in and read stories and hugged. Many of them have born witness to some really heinous things (drug use, rape, broken families).
My parents tried to foster kids after I was basically self sufficient in high school. The boys under the age of 10 were all on antipsychotic drugs to even them out and going to therapy. The one kid my parents couldn’t help ended up stabbing a kid in the chest at 11yo at a group home later.
I’d be willing to bet money that a black baby adopted at birth and raised by a tiger mom (violin at 3) would have no trouble getting into any school in the world. It’s all in how you’re raised.
But keep believing in you pale superiority. Even if it were true. You did nothing to earn it. You can’t take any credit for European genius (DaVinci) or world domination (Alexander) simply because you have white skin.
This is false, and it shows how limited you are. You think we all fit into one of two camps:
We are race-conscious and actively want our race to be the dominant/sole race in society.
We are race-conscious and actively want other races to be the dominant race(s) in society (the self-loathing multiculturalism ethnonationalists hate).
You’re completely ignoring a third position, and one that most people ascribe to - not especially race-conscious and largely indifferent to the racial makeup of society. Society mostly white? Fine. Society turning brown, or mostly brown in places already? Fine. Americans do care about culture, but race isn’t culture.
You see, you moved to a country you find very confusing because the majority of us are in this Camp No. 3 you find so puzzling. And Camp No. 3 is representative of mainstream America, even as we still have some issues along racial lines.
And this position of racial tolerance was hard-earned through some very tough crises in our history. So take your poisonous ideas about race out of our country, if you want to be an American.
I personally don’t care if we cut immigration to zero. I think it’s a bad idea for reasons mentioned numerous times previously, but it doesn’t directly effect me at all. I; however, do not and will not ever support cutting specific races, groups, or religions because of Da Feelz.
Yeah, in my opinion you are mistaken. As for myself, I have stated numerous times in the past few years that I see no moral problem with a country limiting immigration–sovereign nations SHOULD control their borders and SHOULD have a cohesive immigration policy. They should also not tolerate illegal immigration, and take steps to minimize it. They also have moral obligations to take rational policies regarding national security.
However I do have major problems with barring immigration based on race and/or religion. Since every time this subject comes up in the past couple years it has been raj’s racist positions on debate, I naturally side against him.
I think most of the people here fall into a camp similar to mine. We recognize both the moral and practical reasons we need to control immigration policy (from a global perspective, not from Brown people) and a big reason is our debt as well.
We just despise the warped and indefensible thinking raj constantly puts on display.

I don’t think is true, but an any event, I haven’t seen anyone make a compelling reason to limit/restrict immigration from the numbers allowed currently (I believe 675k). @anon50325502 has posted at length on how the numbers are minuscule relative to the native population and how the purported negative economic effects of immigration are mostly fiction.
All we hear about as reasons for restricting immigration are foolish candards like “they gone vote in Sharia law!” or “dark-skinned folk are inherently dumber and are gonna bring down the smartified culture we have!”. Make those arguments, and you’ll called out on them for just how bad they are.
No one has made a credible argument that our regular influx of immigration is hurting the country. And that’s because it isn’t.
Ok. Give all current illegal immigrants (without criminal background, etc.) a pathway to citizenship. Double down on securing the border (but with real resources, not a waste of taxpayer money symbol like a wall). Enforce immigration laws on the books.
