Bill always enjoyed your posts. Same with Zeb. Don’t stay away to long. We lost a lot of good guys over the years. RJ, Zap Brannigan, even old Vroom. We used to argue up a shit storm a few years ago. I don’t post for long stretches out of boredom more then anything else.
I’m feeling old being here since 2003. I thought it was longer then that but who knows.
And as you all know I’m a liberal. I’m the kind who doesn’t want anybody being pressured to shut up.
If that’s what you intended (no pressure to shut up) you would do better to describe yourself as a classic liberal. A modern liberal is, as me granny used to say, “two shakes of a lamb’s tail” away from crushing dissent by any available means.
She forgot to add: unless she is saying or thinking something unPC.

I guess if you are of the Republican (conservative) mindset then I guess Zap and RJ were “good”. Zap had some funny one-liners from time to time, but that was his schtick…one liners. I never got much out of em.
RJ acted like a raving lunatic most times. Dude dropped ad hominems left and right on people he disagreed with. Sorry, but that doesn’t add much to a discussion board. Entertaining maybe, enlightening, no.
He was, however, pretty knowledgeable about ranching and dirt farming of that regular paradise that is west Texas.
*My post wasn’t intended to bash anyone, just giving my observations from posting here since roughly the fall of 2001.

You may remember that T-Nation was around prior to 2002/2003, but it was then (IIRC) that members had to actually register to post in the message boards.

I just got word that ZEB is going to leave the forums also. He is not an employee of Biotest, but he has told me he is going to sneak out the back door.
What the crap is going on with all the people over the age of 35 leaving this place? I enjoy our little debates, and getting to know the other side of the story. Makes me think, and I enjoy the honesty, and wisdom the older folks bring to the discussion. Yes we all can get a little pissed off, but we all get over it and move on to the next thread.
perhaps he is just backing away since this place can be time consuming. Even lurking can take alot of time.
Bill Roberts gave some much needed sanity and reason to a lot of the discussions here. even as i scanned over threads, i found myself slowing down to read his responses because they were often very good. i understand the business logic, but i cant help feel that it will be net loss for the community here.
