Spain and England off the top of my head.

He’s got a bow tie. That means he’s a super professor. So just remember what he says at the end - he needs your children. Better do like he says, I think he’s serious.
They we’re never like us and where are they now.

Were they not god fearing and have god all and scripture all over? And you make my point exactly. Where are they now? They rose, they ruled, they fell. God had nothing to do with it.

Too bad creationists are westerners.
if they were one of the “First Nations”, creatonism would be considered “indigenous knowledge”.
It would be preserved as a precious “cultural heritage”, respected as a part of the “intellectual patrimony of mankind”, and tax payer money would be used to protect it against the “imminent danger of ethnocide”.

Because he has a valid point. America’s cult of creationism makes Americans look backwards, ignorant and unenlightened to the rest of the world. The result of this ignorance is a loss of credibility. [/quote]
Well when the rest of the world reaps the benefits from America going to Mars, you know…

There are those who believe in an old creation, but who do also believe that the triune God of the bible did indeed create from nothing everything that is, save for Himself alone, including man in His own image from the dust of the earth and all very good.

So do Catholics who believe evolution to be true.

Most societies eventually fall, its a fact of history. Also if you look at the longest surviving empire/society today it is very non-christian and on an upward rise.

Let’s be honest. If a majority of Americans don’t become faithful Catholics in communion with the Church, it’s going to be a rough ride down hill. Western Civilization really started down hill with the Reformation, kept going down with the Enlightenment, and took a turn for the worst with the French Revolution and started picking out it’s grave with Modernism at the beginning of the 20th Century. Ten stacks says the Evil One’s hand has been in on it all along.
We tried to be an empire, back when being an empire was cool. We were just horrible at it. We had the Philippines and Cuba at one point, but we only kept those for a few years. Most of the other territories were small islands. Wake, Midway, Guam, Virgin, etc.
I’m not sure why liberals think they need to “educate” us. Like believing in God is some sort of debilitating disease that requires you to avert your eyes when you pass us on the street. The Bible is irrefutable proof that God exists. Just look around, it is plain as day. Actually, it IS day. Without God, we wouldn’t have the sun, so things would be pretty dark around here. Maybe I am not the willfully ignorant one.

Who gives a shit what the rest of the world thinks? They wouldn’t have a fucking pot to pee in without Uncle Sam.

If they did we wouldn’t be here. I was a willing participant until God subdued my stiff necked will and brought me unto Himself. This ain’t no special insight due to my goodness or brilliance lol.

Even the pagans will side with me when it’s over. I’m still waiting for a reply in the Romans 2 thread. That thread has been all over. It’s be great to get it back on track. You can go ahead ya know. Your work is already done for you. Hundreds of years ago no? Tell us what the divinely authorized interpretation of chapter 2 13-15 is. I have to actually research pray and study. I will not now be drawn into this debate you brought up here now though I will take no joy in spanking you firmly when we get to it =] I’m juggling waaay too many things already.

Implying all of America is responsible for getting to Mars.

we have troops in just about every country that will allow it . Bill Nye is entitled to his opinion of why science is more beneficial than Religion. I personally see nothing that makes it a Conservative Liberal point of view nor do I see any discrepancies in the big bang and Biblical creation theory
