AM Weight: 103.15kg And feelin it. Had Quad and Ab viens though. I mean super minor but they were there. Quad separation all the way up too but my love handles are coming in.

I can count on 2 fingers how many times I have jumped from 5 plates to 6 plates on Squat or Deadlift. This was the 2nd. I dont really think that was the problem. If I had to blame something it would be drinking on Saturday. Last injury I had was when I came back from Mazatlan and the main activity of that was Alcoholism.
OK that was the bad.
The Good:
-That 585 felt EASY and the first thing I felt was my hamstring tearing. It was actually a lot slower than it felt.
-My form and ritual were exactly what I want them to be.
-Grip was locked in but the problems there usually dont start until 600+ so lets just keep working.
I expect I will be able to do some Squatting on Wednesday and some Deadlifting Friday but nothing heavy either day.
I need to get healthy and figure out Low Bar or High Bar but I have a lot of confidence that I can get it done this time.
AM Weight: 103.15kg Thought for sure that would come down but then I remember how many total reps I did yesterday. Its a lot more solid feeling 103 today though as Low Bar Mobility stuff felt much better today than it has since I weighed 101.

I actually loaded and did a rep with 315 because my target today was a 3x5 at 345. Everything just felt heavy and shitty though so I went way lower.
Hamstring is tight but no bruising that I can see. I doubt I do any lower body work before Friday though.
OK time to grind…then kick some Covenant ass as I just got Halo Reach. I dont know the full story line but as far as I can tell Earth is definitely the bad guys, maybe Covenant too. depends on if they are defending against Earth or fighting over land against.

Yes just wasnt feeling it at all but I went in just to feel out my hamstring. It’s not nearly as healed as I thought. 135 had a twinge.
Seal Rows: Hate em. Love the idea but any chest supported row always crushes my sternum.
Drugs: Back on TRT. Going to dial it back, get healthy and build this deadlift then it’s go time again.
Poker: I switched to Party Poker. The volume I am playing the rakeback each month covers living expenses so just having that cushion is huge. Plus games seem to be a ton softer. Stars went straight to shit. So now I am playing volume (which for whatever reason I couldn’t do on stars) which makes it more like a real job. It has had an impact on my motivation to lift though.
Ok done with everything for the day. I will do some leak finding and play Halo.

Deads I should have stopped at 225 as there is where I could feel my Hamstring but it wasnt painful so I went up.
Squats were AWESOME!!! The last time I squatted anything over 135 with out sleeves was probably the first time I hit 585. That 405 was squirrely AF. (If thats offensive to Squirrels IDGAF lol.) I got up on my toes and wavey legged but still no pain.
Also saw how Spock was doing Split Squats and was like I could do that. I can totally tell that my right leg is the smaller one as its stability and strength in general sucks. Probably all goes back to that Knee Injury.
Koffee and Kareem: FUNNY AF Wifey and I dont usually laugh at the same things but we were both laughing the entire movie. Also I know …spoiler… Watts is the bad person but she was my favorite character. Kareem probably my least, gave me flashbacks of grade school. LOL
Funny Story: It was just like prison (or not really). I moved for 6th grade and first day I met a kid and he was my first friend there. We actually met because some 4th year at 6th grade hill billy kid was trying to kick my ass. We hung for that year but drifted apart but he had my back for the next 4-5 years until he went to Alternate School. Man that system was messed up. They had half the kids on ridalin so they wouldnt act up.

Program calls for “Smt Heavy” so that was that. 395 moved really well but I misgrooved every way possible including ways that shouldnt be possible like set up so I took it again. It was a lot slower but a lot less misgrooving.
I bought the dedicated DL slippers, and find I like the lounge slippers better. The soles on the DL slippers seemed too small, and my feet hang over the edges. It doesn’t hurt, it is just kinda uncomfortable . I have also tried Chuck Taylors.
I used to use Ballet Slippers but they were a smidge small (largest I could find) and they had a blow out. I think what I am using now are lounge slippers?
I tried barefoot but my old gym wouldnt allow it. My current one does not have the cleaning team normal gyms do.
Barefoot is my preferred foot apparel for anything…but Wifey wont let me get away with that because hook worms or what not.
EDIT: Googling those now. Based on principle I refuse to pay how ever much the “deadlift shoes” are going for because they are literally just Ballet Slippers but 10x the cost. Those Moccasins are pretty cool though and still half the price of some deadlift slippers.

I am pretty sure my belt is actually messing with my form and lower back. I think I should probably wear it higher when I add it back in. I am also Squatting too deep but I assume that will be fixed when I add weight and a belt.
I could feel my Hamstring today before working out. Not bad just like it had been trained and not fully recovered and a bit more prominent after working out. We will see how it feels Friday.
OK better day at work than last 2 days…which basically just means nothing literally burned down but I am calling it progress.
