God yeah that commercial! That was about 15 years ago right?
[/quote]

Yea, I searched long and hard for it on the net but it appears it is not out there. I actually found a petition that was started for the company to release the commercial to the net. There is a parody of it, or maybe it’s an attempt to re-enact it.

ALAS I HAVE FOUND IT!

Too bad we haven’t seen Vegita around in a long time to share in this wonderful find!

There are thousands of them to choose from.

I agree. He asked a decent question in line with the topic.

It isn’t like he asked when Avengers is coming out.

Come on flipcollar, you gotta think…whenever people start new threads that have been covered, they get railed for being “too lazy to use the search function”…so why bash someone for bumping a thread relevant to their question?

Ive been letting my hair grow out a bit and every time I’ve washed it its gotten dry and frizzy even with some of the conditioners Ive tried, any recommendations?

I have asian hair. I usually get a buzz with a fade. But after two weeks, my hair get’s long and just looks poofy and doesn’t really stay down. Any thoughts on how to keep it flat?

A wavecap helps, but still doesnt really look good.

I’ve tried gel and it doesnt work.

Tried shampoo and conditioner to add “weight” and it doesn’t work

I’m thinking of trying hair wax next, but idk, i feel like it’s not healthy for hair.

I really dont want to have to spend 17 bucks on a haircut every two weeks, and I’ve tried and failed at giving myself a fade, but if all else fails, i guess i’ll just spend the money to get the haircuts.

^ buy clippers and just buzz it. Teach yourself how to do a fade, been doing my own for 17 years, its not that hard.

if you dont wash ur hair it will get more greasy and stay down better i think. Since i got long hair i shower 2x a day but i dont actually use shamppoo or conditioner on my hair except maybe once a week or two. Keeps the hair nice and oily (not gross cuz i hand srcub still) and it holds together better doesnt get all frizzy/puffy.

Practice makes perfect. I haven’t seen the inside of a barber shop for 6 years.

As a person cursed with poofy-hair-of-Satan syndrome, buying a buzzer and thinning shears and teaching myself to cut my own hair was something I’m glad did. My hair grows so fast that I need to cut/trim it once a week.

So you just wash your hair with just water?

The more your hair lays down and lies straight, the more oils that hair produces all day long. Someone with dryer hair could actually damage their hair if they wash it too often with no moisturizers. So yeah, people with curlier or kinky hair may find their hair more manageable if they wash it with soap less often.

Go get it done, watch the person cutting your hair, its not that hard. Just cut it a week after they cut it. Its not that bad and again if you fuck it up, just buzz it down and start again.

I also only wash my hair once a week, I just use water the rest of the time. I have super straight dry hair so figured this out a few years ago.

thats it. my hair is kinda curly and super thick, it gets super dried out even if i only use conditioner so i usually just wash with water and scrub my scalp to keep after that dandruff. Once in a while when i need it i use dandruff shampoo or condition if i feel its getting to thick, but it stays alot better when i dont use anything but water.

I’m home for a vacation and I love how many different kinds of Old Spice deodorants and soaps there are.

I want to learn to cut my hair at home too. My wife wants to try. I think I’m going to let my wife cut 'er in the next couple of days and see how she does. If it’s too bad, I’ll just go and get it cut super short. Any pointers/videos? I’m the opposite of you all above, thick-ish, oily blond-ish brown hair.

I’m desperately trying to be that Old Spice guy.
