My dad was a teacher/coach. He was also a complete and total asshole. In high school, I had a friend with tourettes who had my dad in class. During lunch we would sit around and come up with phrases for him to spew at my dad during class that day. It was fantastic. His go-to was “Bastard Ass Shit Fuck”.

He tripped. You never tripped? When you have tripped, what is it news? Given the fact most Americans are fat and out of shape, I wouldn’t be surprised if most of them aren’t falling over the place regularly. Even that English twit commenting probably stumbles on a daily basis. If the biggest complaint you can come up with about Biden is that he tripped and fell, then you really have nothing to complain about. If the biggest complaint you can muster about media bias is they didn’t cover Biden falling as though he just killed a puppy, then you have nothing to complain about.
The point was contrasting the press’s reporting of Trump walking down a ramp at what they considered to be a slow speed vs. the coverage of Biden falling 3 times.

FWIW, I saw both the Trump ramp footage, and the Biden falling on the stairs footage on MSM. It was equal coverage. I am not sure what people are complaining about? Do they want it to be unequal?
trump went of his way to take low blows at folks having perceived physical and mental deficiencies if they disagreed with him. Weird how he didnt get the nicest treatment when it came to any of his apparent physical or mental deficiencies.

I try to stay lean just in case one day I have the chance to ask Joe a question face to face. Wouldnt want to be called out for being fat in public. It would totally nullify any inquiry I might have.

I think this is a fascinating observation. The conclusion is less attractive though - people who are upper-middle class seem to have a different perspective on the worth of a dollar, have a different perspective on immediate gratification, and a different outlook on the value of health.
There are undoubtedly people who are poor and who WOULD plan and eat healthy if they could afford it. But it does seem that at least a very large portion don’t care. As you note though there also seems to be some kind of cultural thing happening too, since many, many poor people who are not Americans also try to buy real food.
God that’s awful. I mean, I think my heart may have just stopped beating from reading it. I can’t fathom willingly eating such a… Thing.
As long as we don’t have to import the rest of your royals. The queen is a badass.
