Biden 2021 - A Mediocre Middle Ground

You tell that to the IRS after not paying your taxes. I guess you’d have to imagine it since you don’t pay taxes but money is imaginary anyway so that should be easy.

Is this why taxes exist? No. Taxation is what gives the dollar value. Otherwise you could go to prison if your taxes aren’t paid. You NEED dollars.

Have provided proof before. You just haven’t read it OR it didn’t align with your economic ideology so you just dismissed w/o providing a well reasoned argument for the opposition. Zimbabwe is often cited for “money printer go brrrr” as to their reason for hyperinflation. But what IS NOT acknowledged by goons like you is the fact that their food production fell dramatically prior to the printing of money. I’ve provided other examples and other reasons in past posts.

Funny how, as taxes go up, the dollar is worth less.

Were taxes higher in the 1950’s? Was the value worth less?

When did an injection of money (such as the $4+ Trillion issued during the pandemic) ever lead to an equivalent increase in production? Never, because demand curves don’t work that way. So inflation could be mitigated by production increases in theory (as the articles I posted state). In practice it never pans out this way. → Therefore issuing currency leads to inflation because the mitigating steps are never taken (nor should they be. False economic demand is not sustainable either).

I’m not living in 1950.

Where was all the inflation for those trillions spent in the unjust wars in the mid-east?

Doesn’t matter to the overall point.

Those wars cost about $2 trillion over 20 years. We dumped twice that into the economy in a year and a half during the pandemic. You can’t compare those two things.

@castoli711

Exactly what he said.
Worst case estimates say 4 trillion out to around 2050.
Even if we use the roughly 3.7 trillion number listed here over 17 years:

That’s roughly 210 billion per year. Even doubling that for 1 year is only 1/10th the amount spent on Covid relief in an equivalent timeframe. Additionally, at least the war effort created jobs in the defense industry. COVID relief created zero jobs because in March and April of 2020, 22 million jobs were shed. Only had a recovery of 12 million jobs between 2021 and 2023.
Clearly a net loss where production did not increase to match the injection of money.

Yet more proof you don’t understand jack shit about math, especially orders of magnitude.

I’m alive, those people are dead. They don’t pay taxes anymore.

A bit of a different number.

Biden in Maui…dude might not make it to Nov 2024, forget about Nov 2028.

That slimy evil bastard Newsom knows what he’s doing, hanging around, waiting for Bernie’s friends to stop moving his limbs and just letting him fall/die.

now the clown is putting restrictions on ceiling fans

A lot of household appliances have government regulations that they need to meet. It is fairly common for regulations to change from time to time.

Are you really coming to his defense, cmon man

I actually disagree with this one. The reason being is fans are pretty efficient as is. Far more efficient than AC. Even with brushed motors, most of the electricity is converted to mechanical motion (brush motors are about 80% efficient, vs 90% for brushless).

I don’t know what the changes are that are being proposed (I suspect it is requiring brushless motors, which are more efficient). I did see that the expected energy savings is ~$40 over the life of the fan (which is probably decades). It is just not a big deal.

All I am saying is that tons of products have regulations changed each year. Maybe it’s a new safety standard they have to meet. Maybe an efficiency one. All I am saying is that these changes have happened in the past and most people didn’t care. I think this is something a few people have decided to be angry about basically.

So

Gas stoves, AC units, Heaters, Light bulbs and now ceiling fans

This is big government getting too big

and they are claiming it will help save the planet
