I wish they would do this. Due to my work with a DoD contractor, I can’t even legally use CBD soap, let alone any of the better products.
I have always found it hilarious that when working entry level jobs during college at Walmart, Sportman’s Warehouse, etc - I was always drug tested.
Since getting my JD/MBA - I have never been drug tested for any job.
To be fair, I have never been drug tested either, but at any point they could if they wanted to. It’s more likely after foreign travel or during our periodic paperwork repeats.
I have to say i am not a Biden fan of any kind, as a matter of fact i despise of him and his dis-service to this country for the past 40 years
but i will give credit where credit is due, pardon anyone that was arrested for weed, possesion, selling, smoking, whatever
And arrest and prosecute anyone who commits these violent crimes that are happening now
It is just comical to me.
Being in positions where you can ruin people’s lives, kill them, cause massive trouble and you aren’t drug tested.
But, the cashier at Walmart and those stocking shelves are tested.
I oversee several drug screen pools, and I have to be in all of them even though I just sit in an office and don’t do anything that could be remotely dangerous. I get tested about every other month in one pool or another. The only thing I ever do is eat some gummies in Vegas once or twice a year, but I make sure my urine will be clear before I get back to work.
I work for the largest utility in the country and started in nuclear power…we get tested all the time
Attorneys and doctors that I know are never tested.

I mean if you don’t do drugs are you even trying?
Life is easy mode sober. Up your difficulty level nOObs.
I’m only vaguely aware of the laws due to my background, but I’d be interested to see how this stuff pans out on reservations. Lots of people end up going to federal prisons for crimes committed on reservations when they’d go to state pens for the exact same crime if it was committed on non-rez land.
I hate to Like that comment, but that’s a good example of a “Built In” or Institutional unfairness, or Over Policing. Or something like that.
Sometimes it’s hard to come up with concrete, “real” examples.
As I suspected, even the highly partisan WaPo admits that nobody is locked up for simple possession. Even though I’m not opposed to the pardon per-se, it is obviously more self-congratulatory “governance” that doesn’t result in any actual changes to the law or letting anyone out of federal prison for simple possession because there are no such people.
But hey, if Biden managed to get some potential Democrat voters off of the couch, good for him. It’s not easy when you’re a white boy who was raised simultaneously by the black, Puerto Rican and Jewish community.
But hey, what does a guy like me even know? I was raised by mere white people.
I just hope the October surprise is the kind of Biden Administration hijinks we can all laugh about, and not nuclear war.
Unless the WaPo article linked above somehow overlooks what happens on the reservation, my guess is that it will pan out to very little for most people. It looks like the best case scenario for someone who was wronged by the feds in years past will be becoming eligible for jury duty. The WaPo article mentions voting and holding office, but I don’t know of too many places with restrictions on that for non-felons convicted of simple possession in Federal courts. Apparently they exist, however, and there may be a couple of thousand such people. I wish them luck in their future civic engagements.
Nobody from the Biden administration is going to pay me back all of the court costs, lawyer fees, travel expenses and other costs associated with getting arrested with a 1/4 ounce of weed in 1990’s Indiana. Nor will I receive any sort of compensation for having some Pulaski County jail guard examine my butthole with a flashlight and his finger. Not even a Hallmark card from Dr. Jill Biden. Nor will I receive back pay for the community service I was forced to perform.
Why you be such an ageist, 'bro?
POIDH.
Start a gofundme with aforementioned pics, and I will be happy to donate!
(no homo, not that there’s anything wrong with that)
On a related note, WTF is going on in PA, where they’re running out some dude for the Senate who had a stroke, refuses to talk about anything substantive (sound familiar???), and campaigns dressed in a hoodie??? (apparently to hide obvious signs of a physical ailment)
What’s with this new run the village idiot we can easily control playbook?
It’s not even about compensation. It’s about justice, and vague notions of equity that justify my opinions.
A simple Hallmark card from Joe Biden would be acceptable to me.
Dearest twojarslave,
I’m deeply sorry you were forced to undergo a needless butthole probing by a government agent back in the 90’s. I realize the circumstances surrounding this pointless examination of your asshole also cost you a lot of time and money.
Not a joke.
Sincerely,
President Joseph R. Biden
…playing the cute puppy pic card, nice. You got my vote.
Village idiots are all that are left.
