As ridiculous as it sounds, I used wrist wraps some on my bench press tonight just to try it out. Embarrassing to use wraps on a 225 bench, but I’ve had a bunch of surgeries on my left arm/elbow/wrist. It at least helped with the lift-off, which puts the most pressure on my forearm. If I had a spotter to give me a lift-off I’d probably be ok?

Just massage therapy tonight. My right hip has been bothering me for a long time, and now my right hamstring is getting pretty painful. My therapist said she can tell I’m way more beat up and sore than usual. Hopefully this helps.

Deadlifts felt really good. I’m trying to start this next block off conservatively. Only eight weeks out from the meet, now. I like the landmine hack squats, but found they get pretty cumbersome to get onto my shoulder once the weight gets even a little heavier, so I’ll swap that supplemental spot out with something else.
Good low volume session.
