Damn fine comp numbers mcl, good job.
Great job! That is a fantastic performance and fantastic progress!
Just a quick update: Tonight was my first time in a bench shirt. Borrowed a worn out, incredibly stretched-out 46 F6 from a teammate. Worked up doing doubles, from 315 to a 3-board, to 415 to a 2-board. In terms of the weight, I probably could have done another set or two, but I made 20lb jumps on the advice of the team leader, so we called it quits after a 415 double.
Afterwards, the guy who lent me a shirt said it was basically about to blow a seam, and showed me how much sunlight was coming through the shoulder seams. He lent me a rather tighter (only used twice) size 48 F6 for next time.
Right now, my goal is to touch over 500 by the end of the year, in competition (along with adding 100 or so lbs to my squat and at least 50 lbs to my deadlift, for a 1500 single-ply total at the very least).
Then, 1800 by the end of 2011, and single-ply elite in 2012. Then I’ll start giving some thought to multiply. ![]()

Did my best.
Went 9/9.
Squat: 374, 424 (PR), 451.9 (PR)
Bench: 264, 303 (PR), 314.2 (PR)
Deadlift: 457, 501 (PR), 523.6 (PR)
Total: 1289 (187 lb PR over the March meet 11 weeks ago)
Metal King Pro Deadlifter on order. Metal squat suit and Titan F6 in the bag. I plan to start training in them in a week after I recover from the meet. Gearwhoredom, here I come.[/quote]
Congrats. Nice improvement over 11 weeks.
