Maybe, but she was also one of the most universally backed candidates in history… Do you remember any time a candidate had 2 presidents doing rallies for them, have the MSM like putty in their hands, had all of Hollywood and academia all supporting them at the same time? I don’t. It wasn’t just a moratorium on her. It couldn’t have been with the support system she had. A mule with that much backing should have won easily.
I hope she runs again… I really do.
If you should ever actually be curious, Georgia has a few still living chapters of the KKK. They have even more than the 2 still going in WV.
I strongly advise the head in the sand stance though. Ignorance is hella bliss in this regard
Ivgrew up in klan country Indiana. From what I can see the KKK is basically the same as Antifa. A bunch of white pussies in masks with fantasies of violent revolution fueled by a dangerous combination of ignorance and confidence.
Pretty sure I called the squad morons and idiots in the first post on this very thread. I also called Bernie insane or loony or something yesterday. I guess we see what we want though.
Yep.
This.
Cheers to that.
I’ve always struggled with a ‘dominant race’ that somehow is filled with people too terrified to be seen supporting their view.
I don’t think so in the least bit. I don’t know about the 2 presidents part but it’s a unique situation because she was married to one. And I don’t think that’s a significant event anyways. If anything the idea that her husband had already been in office hurt her.
I don’t think the MSM was in love with her either and as for the others they didn’t like her as much as you think. Keep in mind the widespread idea was the DNC stole the nomination from Bernie or at least potentially.
As for all that backing you’re calling Hollywood a significant percent of the population? It pales in comparison to the amount of evangelicals that came out for one of the most vile candidates of all time. We learned right there that they are full of shit and don’t care what someone does in their personal lives or how they treat people.
She was despised. Certainly by the right and not universally loved on the left as someone like Obama. She’s about as flawed a candidate as the Dems could have ran. And she still had more people vote for her.
Could say that about a lot of things though. Drive I-70 from Kansas to Colorado and the amount of windmills you see when you hit Salina and on is insane.
Weirdly my hometown which only has about 600 people got a wind farm in the country areas. They ended up giving the school a bunch of money and I want to say 900 a month for the people who let the windmills on their land. That may not be right and don’t know the exact timeframe for payments.
Weirdly that wind farm is very close to Wolf Creek nuclear plant which I can get to from my hometown house in about 15 minutes. That power plant took Coffey County from one of the poorest counties in the state to one of the most well off. And it was hugely protested before it was built which I believe was the late 70’s.
I’m a huge fan of nuclear power but biased because I know what it did for our local communities and I know tons of people that work there. Extremely well paying jobs for a long time even for people without degrees.
I’ve got a nuclear plant in my area as well. Shit provides so many 60k+ jobs that it’s shocking (60k is a lot in Ohio).
Exactly. There’s another aspect of Trump’s behavior that Mussolini displayed:
Casual flings: The dictator, who liked to present himself as an insatiable Latin lover, is thought to have had hundreds of casual lovers, many of them Italian women who offered themselves to him out of admiration for his fascist beliefs. He lost his virginity at the age of 17 to a prostitute. He later described her as “an elderly woman who spilled out lard from all parts of her body.” Once he had risen to power as head of the fascist party, his valet claimed that Il Duce had “a woman brought to him every day, every afternoon”. They were recorded in the guest book of his official residence, Palazzo Venezia in Rome, as “fascist visitors”. Mussolini himself liked to brag about his love life. “There was a time when I had 14 women and took three or four them every evening, one after the other,” he once said.

Yeah. Same thing when you’re in Kansas and not in Johnson County.
Sounds like the Kennedys. Lust for power and normal lust seem to go hand in hand.
FAKE NEWS, @loppar!!!
One thing Trump doesn’t imitate, thankfully, is Mussolini’s penchant for going shirtless.
Trump chant getting people in trouble.
This is what the type of rhetoric gets us. I wish I wasn’t proven right so quickly that it creates an environment where people mimic what they see from the highest office in the land. I couldn’t be happier that you’re in the country (I mean that sincerely no matter how much we may disagree on here.). But we are emboldening people to make assumptions based on how someone looks. The idea that the country isn’t someone’s simply because the color of their skin. Like I said unfortunately go back to where you came from is more than a typical insult and usually caked with real malice and venom.
We’re holding him to a higher standard than we hold the President.
I certainly not interested in them so, they my be around but I ain’t looking.
Ironically, they are both white…
People need to think for themselves and Trump condemned the chant anyway.
If this guy got fired he was likely gonna do something dumb enough to get fired.
But that’s not the real story. The real story is Trump said something contemptible and threw the democrats into complete chaos. This whole thing was a calculated move that worked better than he could have hoped.
Anybody talking policy? Nope, they are talking about Twitter. Nobody is even talking about the election, it’s all about the squad. You even had democrats walking out of the house chamber because the talk was so stupid, they couldn’t take it.
Pelosi was trying to get the squad to shut up, Trump put them front and center. Then he complimented Pelosi later, aligning her with him.
Y’all think he’s stupid, well he maybe a simpleton, but he ain’t dumb. He has the democrats reeling, fighting and in chaos. And that was genius.
Keep thinking it created chaos in the Dems. The truth is, it has galvanized them more and, unlike Russia, they have actual proof of Trump’s wrongdoing. It’s so chaotic they actually passed a resolution condemning his words as racist.
You also ignored the fact that posters have pointed out that the asylum issue is front page news. No one is ignoring policy. But you have admitted you don’t follow the news.
