Better for the Party: "Many Voices" or "STFU"?

I’m very happy to admit both sides do it if you are

Of course, I’d be overjoyed to discuss who does it more and better

Am I in this group in your eyes, @treco? (Probably so!)

I have no rage against the man.

I’ve been clear in stating that he will win a second Term; and I have been clear in stating that only Trump can (and will) eventually take down Trump. A DEM Party tearing itself apart won’t do it…and neither will “Hollywood” (whatever than means).

All I point out is the man’s words…his actions…and his hypocrisy.

That ain’t rage, it’s just reality.

I’ve been wondering about this. There’s a possibility that people don’t see FOX as part of the msm because FOX is so skewed toward the right, a lot more than other news channels are skewed towards the left.

I’m picking one that statement because it’s what has been discussed in this thread recently.

One of us is talking about a specific current example. The other one is saying the examples are legion with no specifics.

Am I supposed to say “the left does it as well” every single time I talk about something? I think if you look at my post history you will see a ton of times of me talking about how the left does things that the right does. I think the frequency is much higher than you calling out Trump.

Which makes no sense at all considering talk radio is absolutely dominated by conservatives. Fox News is the highest rated by far and has been for a long time. Yet people act like liberal media is the only thing possible to consume and no one gets to see a conservative viewpoint.

A lot of this seems directed or inspired by the Communists. Whataboutism for example. Look it up. Old Communist argument tactic.

I found this amusing: (from Yahoo news)

““She looks down with contempt on the hard-working Americans, saying that ignorance is pervasive in many parts of this country,” Trump said during the rally, prompting the chant”

To which the crowd responded “Send her back, send her back!”

Does Trump even see the irony in this?

lolz…

Like her as a politician or not…she’s right about this.

Since you ignored the whole send her back issue we were talking about, and you were given the chance to address it, I will assume you are ok with it (or too much of a tribalist to take a stand for what is right).

I don’t mind if a lot of people carry their liberal crap back home with them.

Seriously, don’t move to my country that you had absolutely zero to do in creating, and then bitch and attempt in every way to destroy it’s mores. You are corrupting the children here that think the US sucks because I’m young.

To the others, l never see any of you castigate the left. If you do out of the dozens of daily posts, my apology.

To all, including zecarlo - h bring the hog, pergola will be done Sat hopefully.
Back to it.

No worries lol. I’m sure you’ll make the comment again one day and ignore our comments about the left as is the standard

That’s just it. I don’t like her, or any of the 4. But I feel a President should be above name calling.

Agreed.
He can’t use logic to silence them so he resorts to name calling.

It’s the same tactic internet commentors use when they have an indefensible point.

lolz…

Which country should AOC go back to? Which shows you miss the point. Many left leaning posters here, on this very thread even, have criticized the very politicians Trump insulted. We just have the courage to point out racism when we see it. Is go back to where you came from now the intelligent response to those we disagree with? Or is it a simplistic slogan for the simple minded.

The sad thing is, it’s all a joke to Trump. He thinks it’s funny as if he were some standup comic. He doesn’t realize the potential for violence and increased division in this country as he cheerleads a mob. That mob is made up of people who believe that their lives will somehow change for the better because of something, I don’t even think they can define it, Trump is doing. Successful people are not showing up to his rallies and mindlessly chanting. And Trump is laughing.

@Basement_Gainz, just a call back to this statement, and more likely better in the Stupid thread:

Slovenia maybe???

Ah, but lets be honest, you assumed I was a darker shade of brown

Maybe white nationalists like him, maybe they don’t I have no idea because I am not one and I don’t know any. As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t know where to look and I live in Georgia, which should be a big hub of the KKK. I think people read to much in to the president’s statements. When you are pursuing a policy change that happens to affect a demographic because that demographic is most guilty of doing it, so be it.
I don’t want to have open boarders just to piss off a handful of white nationalists.
And we all agree the president could have a bit more decorum, the problem I have is that I like much of his actual policies. Since no one else, with a chance in hell of winning the presidency is representing the policies I like, I have no choice. I have the orange guy or the extreme left… Well, I am pretty much opposed to everything the extreme left stands for, so orange man it is.

Now when I was little, we accidentally drove through a klan rally. I wanted to stop because they were giving away free hot dogs… Wisely my parents didn’t stop.

Only thing I noticed about wind power is that everybody seems to like it, but nobody wants it in their back yard…
