Takes some getting used to, at first, but soon takes off - and you with it.

Wait for the rebound.
Also, you’re quite old, yes? The added hip mobility will come in handy.

Nah, my hips broke after the first few sways :frowning:

I’m just a girl.

Here you go. My friend’s sister listens to a lot of breakup songs during her cardio days. This is a personal favorite of mine for foam-rolling my IT bands, groin/crotch, quads and hams.

up at 3am…i’ll play

sometimes it needs to just kill, fuck the whole album concept of this thread…

dichotomy of gym mind set, sometimes it’s kill w/ lift as heavy as possible

somrtimes it’s just a reflective, fall into the set, squeeze like life depends on it

sometimes is a swagger mode, kill a mother fucker with style

other times…

Chill out ID, these threads need to re-occur as new music comes out.

At least it’s not another Crossfit thread :)
Yeah but, no one ever mentions new music. Eveyone names the same damn bands Lamb of God, Pantera, Slayer, etc. Add in some bands where you can’t understand a word they say and there you have it.
I should have added the words ‘recent’ as I was hoping for people to name some new stuff that we could update our MP3 players with. Rage Against the Machine have always been a favorite of mine, but I am looking for something new.

So, with no further BS, only name bands that you have discovered within the last 24 months.
…and anyone naming Katie Perry gets hung, drawn and quartered…and has to take up crossfit.

Two bands that I always come back to.

Andrew W.K. and Death From Above 1979. I’ve been listening to these guys ever since I started lifting, and they never get old. Check them out on youtube, I’m too lazy to post a link.

Just bein’ my usual cranky-funny-dorky elf self.

lol

I’m with you ID.

Even though new songs come up, it’s all the same sort of stuff.

There’s the lead singer right now!

LET THE COOKIES HIT THE FLOOR! LET THE COOKIES HIT THE FLOOR!

LOL Nards!

May seem weird, but I’m naturally someone full of energy all the time. So lately, I’ve found listening to slow, country music has allowed me too really calm down and concentrate on a set; half the time I miss lifts, it’s because over psyche myself. Anyone else enjoy a ‘slower’ workout mix?

A new song that came up on my Pandora was this:

I want to hate the song and the band, but it’s just too catchy and gets me going.
Naw HU is pretty dope, its just most of their juggalo fans that are douschers

Angry music, whilst good is not what I should listen to while lifting or exercising. It makes me brood and retreat into myself.

Now, play some chilled out or emotionally intense music like what I posted below and I can lift with a lot of intensity.

or this

dunno what it is about her voice, but it puts me into god mode.

Best workout I have ever had I had this on repeat.

But I find lifting/competing with a competitive mate to be the best way to get a good intense workout going.

This also never fails to psyche me up…

Lift to this shit.

Or this:

or even this (good for cardio)

HOV

Pantera with David Allan Coe on vocals whats not to like.

D I S C O I N F E R N O !!!

just to fuck with y’all

Are you serious? There are people who actually like country music…let alone lift to it! Have I seen you in one of the crossfit videos?
