Best Way to Switch to Prescribed TRT?

@newbvet Tell me exactly what i said is unreasonable? A 6 month blast and cruise and you’re just now asking about PCT. You think thats smart?

Hormones are absolutely fragile, otherwise forums like T-Nation wouldn’t exist am i right? Most of us have ventured here at one point or another because of our hormonal imbalances. If they weren’t fragile nor easy to deal with, we wouldn’t recommend things like PCT in the 1st place, since our rough and rugged hormones would easily fall back into place.

A PCT i would recommend?

After my last shot of test, i’d begin HCG: 500iu’s 3x weekly or 250iu’s EOD. 6 weeks, especially since he’s been shut for so long.

3-4 days after my last HCG shot, i’d do nolva for 6 weeks 20/20/20/10/10/10 or clomid (25/25/25/25/25/25) and nolva (10/10/10/10/10/10) together.

All in all, you’re the one whose emotional. You chose to read my text as yelling when i was merely emphasizing the short-sightedness of his approach.

You’re the one bitching and providing a cunty response and on top of that, didn’t even give an actual answer for him. You so desperately wanted to “put me in place” and the best advice you gave was “extended PCT”

But please, carry on.

PS; just noticed @vacantgardener’s post got combined. Seems like you were planning to be on for life. My impression was that you were just blasting recreationally with plans of getting off, only now to think about it. For that i do apologize.

I would try to PCT i listed above. On top of that you can go to AllDayChemist and get some HMG too for some added benefit, but HCG should be enough.

You were criticising his lack of forward planning quite harshly while offering no useful advice. The thing is, he didn’t plan a PCT because he wasn’t planning on ever doing one. Then his situation changed, so now he is. Most guys only plan for what they intend to do, and not for contingencies, so flaming the guy wasn’t really justified. If it was a guy who ran a cycle fully intending on PCT snf just didn’t bother to plan until the moment came to start, that’s different.

Yeah i saw and i did apologize.

His question was originally a separate post and when Chris combined them, i got the full story now so I was too harsh considering the circumstances.

However i will disagree with it being harsh overall. i believe i was being matter-of-fact but i also understand the tone translates different through text.

Theres a difference between being matter of fact or being an asshole. These forums exist for the purpose of communication and education. That is exactly what the op was asking for. Even if I agree with your concept, I wont agree with your delivery because it will most likely turn someone off from asking for help.

Fair enough.

I was going for “c’mon you gotta be better than this” rather than admonishing.

However after rereading it a few times to myself, i can see how it can be taken the as more aggressive and off putting.

I’ll come up with better wording and phrasing for next time.

I always find it impressive when someone can look at something they did or said, and apologize. A LOT of people have a hard time with that.

Props Barry.

It’s not gonna happen. Without me starting to insult you. You aren’t gonna be able to hide your materials. Period.

@jm0311 I’m assuming this was directed at the OP? Unless I said something to you causing offense.

Correct. To the OP

I wonder what he decided to do?

I really doubt they allow TRT in the military. You would just be a big headache for them. What happens when you are out in the middle east in active combat and are useless because you feel like dog shit because they haven’t been able to get your test to you. Again I could be wrong considering I know nothing about the military but it just wouldn’t make sense
