iv been using mass xxx for a long time now and i cant find it in the big buckets anymore in local stores…i was just wondering what is the best relitivly cheap protein mass builder that you can buy in bulk
if you have a blender, make your own weight gainer
Protein powder
peanut butter
coconut milk
bananas
oat meal
it is very easy to make a 1000calorie protein shake.
Buy pure whey and mix it with bulk maltodextrin.
Its all thats in gainers like cytogainer and that mass XXX stuff.
And much cheaper/more effective because you can use higher quality whey.
thanx guys i apriciate the responses…i will deffinatly try making my own weight gainer

True.
Although, I’d take oatmeal over maltodextrin for a few grams a fiber.
Same here, though don’t forget heavy cream

Yes but oatmeal actually fills you up.
You could easily drink 3-4 shakes of just whey and malto per day, add 4k calories to your diet and still feel about the same in terms of food intake.
Malto is starch that has been boiled down to NEAR sugar, its very close.

Oh, I’ve never had the problem of being ‘too full’ lol. I imagine it comes down to how many calories you want to take in each day.
Any opinions on a product called “Super Advanced Whey Protein”. WalMart carries it and it’s affordable on my budget. I ask because I’ve been drinking it with Soy milk, two eggs, and a bannan. It’s actually very good. Silly as it sounds, that’s what’s got me concerned. It also has some Creatine in it.
I’m sure I could down at least 100 grams of protein via this product a day with out any problem. I’m also currious how much protein a large egg has or just the egg white. I’ve trying to eat at least one egg white cramble a day. I use two whole eggs and 4 egg whiles with a little salsa. That’s actually very good also. Any other suggestions would be welcome or is there a good thread on this site I should be reading.

Yeah I dont have to play that all out game, Im big enough that Im not desperatly shoveling 10 grand worth of calories down my throat, Im willing to gain at a slower rate and be happy.
But some guys just starting out that are really skinny, they want it now, so they are willing to do crazier shit and put up with some fat gain, and hence I felt I would tailor it towards the products hes likely to need, want, etc.
