I’ve been training seriously and completely naturally for about 5 years now. A couple of months ago out of curiosity I went to the doctor to check my test levels and lo and behold, my total T was 419, free was 7, and bioavailable 172. Follow up bloods 2 months later confirmed it again, and now I’m prescribed 160mg cyp IM once a week. I train mon-fri and take weekends off, and my injection day just happened to fall on Friday so I’ve been sticking with that. My question is, should I be injecting on say Sunday or Monday so my levels are highest during the week when I’m training? Should I time injection before days that I’m training muscle groups that are lagging (ie inject Wednesday so Thursday leg session is optimized)? Or does it really just not matter and I’m overthinking this all?
Most people like to split the cyp dose taking half every 3.5 days. Sub Q is my preferred injection route. The trt board might be better for this discussion.
The more you can split the dose the better. Not that you’d need to, but the truth is that daily injects are going to be the best schedule for any estered test. And if you go the subQ route that makes more frequent injects even easier.
It does not make any difference what day you inject. Your SHGB should determin how often you inject for best results. Low SHGB you need frequent shots like EOD or M,W,F High SHGB 1 to 2 shots per week.
Also be aware of something called steady state, With T cyp that takes 40days. This might help.
