Well I finally bit the bullet and bought an ipod nano. I want to start using it in the gym and I need advice on what the best kind of strap would be to hold the thing. Running won’t be a big deal, but would an armband hinder my performance when my arms starts getting the pump? If anyone has any advice that would be great!
the nano is pretty small. can’t you just slip it in your pocket and run the cord underneath the shirt? there are enough people wearing armbands in the gym already.

I think most of the brands are pretty similar. It’s just some elastic and Velcro with a (p)leather case.
As far as the pump – Adjust the strap as needed. Velcro is sweet like that.
As far as just sticking it in a pocket, well if you’re wearing tight shorts that will keep it in there, go ahead. Shit usually falls out of my pockets (or gets crushed) though whenever I do exercises seated or lying down. There’s a reason so many people use the arm band.
I have only used the Nike armband and find it fits my purposes, the only thing I don’t like about it is that you can’t see your screen.
I’ve used this armband with my nano for rowing, running, met/con and heavy lifting.
does anybody know if Biotest makes an armband?

Ha I hope that was a failed attempt at humor. Anyways thanks for the advice everyone. I was leaning towards the Nike armband so I might as well just go out and get it now.
