Beliefs You Have That No One Suspects You Have

It’s more subtle.

Like, the one woman at my kids daycare would put down what ever she was doing when I came in and fold herself into the “standing A” type stance while slapping her rump with one hand and pointing at her bullseye with the other.

I was like “I dunno. Might be mixed mixed signals, but I think she wants to get praynit”.

Girls are so obvious about it too, how can a guy not notice?

I’m easily confused. Unless I get some really clear signals, I just ignore it.

Wouldn’t want to seem wierd or creepy.

You would not want to know me, my butter is just left in the wrapper and attacked at all different angles, completely butchered crumbs and all.

Can confirm. I have never been more obviously hit on than when I was out with one of my babies without the wife present. (Still happens and my oldest daughter is 4).
Presence of a prominent wedding ring does not deter.

Biologically, women have a leg up in many respects… in the long term

  1. better immune system - “man- flu” is a real thing
  2. higher pain tolerance - some weird thing with estrogen
  3. more endurance- another weird thing with estrogen
  4. More advantageous fat distribution pattern- apparently viceral fat is more detrimental than subcutaneous

It is indeed.

Sheds an interesting light on “The Rhym of The Ancient Mariner”.

Like the guy got married or something so all of his shipmates think he’s a jagoff now.

The ending of lost was “fine”.

Not the way I’d have done it. But certainly not a disaster.

So many novels and tv shows butcher endings. It’s hard to get them right.

Hmm maybe thats why they live longer. But I’d also take all those pop med articles with a grain of salt.

The flush from niacin feels really good.

If you walk around in high spirits while all blotchy from a Niacin flush, people might suspect you believe that the flush from Niacin feels really good.

I agree. For whatever reason, since I was little my feet have always felt cold. (There is no medical condition found, just the way it is.) The only time they don’t is in a hot tub.

OR if I take old-fashioned, full-flush, niacin.

Same. No idea why either; certainly not the climate, because Albuquerque’s weather, at least during the summer and fall, is virtually the same as Jerusalem’s, albeit less humid.

I’ve never heard of a niacin flush. I might give it a whirl this winter.
