Before You Can Accomplish Anything...

…“My other daughter will be born a non-virgin”

THANK YOU, Frank.

And i always thought the dude’s freak act was just an act.

sociopath.

Wat.

Well, since I’m almost certain that was his goal (to incite, “wat”), I shall provide him with more.

Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. Wat. WAT. Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?

If this is art, I’m giving up all aspirations of having some artistic skill in the future.

I think maybe he meant ‘aUtistic’.

wait, so is he actually gonna get assfucked by a homeless guy, or is that a joke?

Anyone who thinks this is “art” needs their ass whipped.

“My second daughter will be born a non-virgin”

Yes, that is so ahead of our time. Clearly, 200 years from now, these word will hang in a museum right next to an ancient “youtube” vid of him getting screwed in the ass my some guy with crabs and lice.

Breath taking.

Awe inspiring.

Groundbreaking.

These are all words that should be locked in this jar here before ever discussing the bullshit.

Lol at Prof Ignoramus, nobody said his video is art.

You don’t have to like it.
You don’t have to watch it.
You don’t have to understand it.

Some people just won’t get it that pretty paintings of ladies with hats are kind of pointless today.

Same with music. It moved forward.
How do you feel when people say about rap “somebody who likes this needs diapers”?

BTW, this is coming from someone who is NOT into modern art. I just happen to like good art.

But by that criterion, if you could paint a masterpiece it would not be art. On the other hand, I could never let a hobo bum me, which would make this art.[/quote]

Correction, you could let a hobo bum you, however, you would not.[/quote]

No, I think I said what I meant.

lol maybe you shouldn’t have used that reference.

I’m fucking laughing myself hysterical here. I can’t believe I’m late to this thread lol.

Dude I have no idea if you’re being serious or just joking around and ‘running with it’ but I wouldn’t consider a young man getting fucked by a homeless man art. If that’s art you can label anything out of the ordinary or socially repulsive as “art.”

Maybe his friend should videotape him jumping off the empire state building and call it “art,” the likes of which we have not seen since Warhol.

Why is it SO important for those you don’t like or understand it -apparently, some do!- to label art as non-art?
You even go so far as to ridicule or threaten. (btw “ass whipping” is kinda freudian here)

If you happen to lose sleep over it, think of it as a discussion on bodybulding:
Most people at least can relate to the idea of health, daily exercise, strength and beauty when they look at a golden age guy, eg Steve Reeves [classic painting]. Even if they don’t persue it personally , ie work out [bought a classic painting in their life]
What over 90% don’t get is excessive drug use, bloated, fat, off-season form and bulking etc. [modern art]
So what? Let them.
Some things aren’t for everyone, even if artists, who’ve been labelled obscene in their time have done a lot more for humanity then bodybulding ever will.

Mate, if you want to watch a guy get bummed by a hobo, you don’t need to make a thread justifying it. Maybe you’re the one being a dick telling everyone what they should make of art, when it is an entirely subjective and individual thing.

Are THESE art?

Exactly.

But let’s be serious. “my second daughter will be a nonvirgin” is not some new form of art. It’s just words. His whole little “skit” about piercings isn’t even strange enough to warrant much discussion aside from guys like Schwarz insisting it is ART.

There is nothing to interpret from being screwed in the ass by a hobo…unless this is some study in how to get AIDs the fastest way possible.

LOL.

But noting the bullshit here somehow makes me “Professor Ignoramus”.

No, I think the ignoramus would be the guy running around thinking he is somehow superior or more advanced socially because he thinks ART is saying nonsensical bullshit all to get a reaction.

Not at all.
I did not start the thread.
I even didn’t see the video.
So your first argument is kinda bunk, mate.

As to the second, it IS NOT entirely subjective and individual.
That’s the POINT here.

If you don’t understand philosophy, don’t rush onto a discussion panel mumbling “Nietsche, Schmietzsche, it’s all nonsense”
People will laugh at you, with good reason.

If I said: bodybuilding is about looking shredded and sexy for most teenage girls, (It’s entirely subjective and individual, mate!) I’d get laughed out, for good reason.

If you proclaim, “I know exactly what’s not art” in a thread about a guy who’s deeply into art, you will…
-I think you get it.

But…some of us grew up in museums looking at and studying art. Why would you assume the people responding to you are so clueless about anything having to do with “art”?

You are speaking to someone who used to write song lyrics on the inside of his textbooks and then spend all weekend turning that into an entire song.

Maybe you are the one underestimating the rest of us.

You’re a very limited fella, painfully ironic for someone who names himself “Professor”.
“it’s just words”, yeah right and a sculpture is “just rocks”. Music is just “some sounds”.

Go watch “in the realm of senses” and try to not think of it as a porno, if you can somehow bring yourself to a level where sexuality isn’t automatically porno.
Of course can a coitus be MANY, MANY things!

Oh, yes the old “he thinks he’s superiour” argument!
Again, try to understand that not everything can be understood at once.
Most people would label you at your bulkiest simply as overweight. Is the ignorant majority (who’s not even interested in understanding and learning about the subject) always right, “professor”?

If YOU spend a lot of time in museums, I’m afraid you didn’t learn a lot about art.
Of course it CAN be subjective but to dismiss it so lightly on the basis of good 'ol prudery is pure ignorance.

Wait, you assume I don’t know anything about art because I don’t find “my second daughter will be born a nonvirgin” and getting screwed in the ass by a homeless person to be anything even resembling art?

I’m sorry, but what exactly is your own extensive background? I am really hoping you attended some accredited art school or else you are truly full of shit.
