@raven78 - Thanks, mate! I don’t travel for work often—at least not as often as some—but I’ve been doing alright when I’ve been on the road over the past year or so!
@george220 - Unfortunately, no: Vacation was a few weeks ago, actually!
I’m on the road running a face-to-face meeting for work this week. Our team is globally distributed, so we try to get together once a year for honest-to-goodness, in-person collaboration.
It’s been a good week, but I’m glad it’s almost over!

I had similar hotel breakfasts the last few days: lots of eggs, some type of sausage-y meat, a bowl of grapes, and black coffee. Actually, it wasn’t bad.

This is the bit that made me say, “for better or worse.” They claimed it was a pork sausage patty, and it was pretty tasty, but…

Many years ago there was a tiny truckstop in the southern end of Montana on I-15. The breakfast special included “pork” sausage. The only thing I know for sure… is that it was NOT pork. It was some kind of meat but definitely not pork. Not even wild boar pork. We drove through pastures full of 100s of sheep 
we called it “that mystery meat place” from then on. 
It was awful!

I ate a mixed meat Chinese dish at a restaurant next to a wild cat refuge. Took a pic for posterity, I have no idea what was in it but remember it being good.
