LOL!
Just to clarify, what’s pictured is 1/4 of the whole frittata that the recipe says serves 4. So the picture shows what is technically 1 serving.
But even so…

Are you sure, remember the camera adds 2 inches !
Is that why my midsection is so round?
Chopped jalapenos are a great sub. Hatch chilis are now in season and I could see roasting a handful an tossing them all in.
I am absolutely that small.
This is why I am constantly filming my junk.
If you film it three times it doesn’t add 6 inches mate
Depends on how good you are at photoshop

Single-leg/core - 75 reps
No heroics today, just 5 solids reps for each of 5 solid sets across both squat and bench. 255x21+ and 205x18+ would’ve been rep PRs, but I’m pretty happy with my decision: I must be deep into some fatigue because 5x5 still wasn’t easy, and even the assistance work had me feeling beat today.
Squats, etc. in 32 minutes, and bench, etc. in another 21 minutes—ran out of assistance to superset after the first work set of bench, so I just rested about 60-75 seconds between sets there and finished up with the two sets of good mornings once I was done with the bench.
Daily work is all that remains. Sled ground-to-overheads are planned, and it looks like the rain that’s pouring down now will push through by the time I’m ready for it, but I can swap with tomorrow’s plate ground-to-overheads, if necessary.
Mate, that’s crazy genuine respect for that
Thanks, my friend!
That WOD was killer and it was only 300 swings. Pretty sure there’s no way I could even get close to that pace with 500 swings, let alone day after day like you did for for the 10K Swing Challenge—The Coyote certainly gave me a new appreciation for just what an amazing thing you did there!

Workout: Daily work, 1600-1615 (15 minutes)
3 rounds of:
a) Alternating DB snatches - L/R - 50 lbs - 10, 10, 10
b) Kroc rows - L/R - 65 lbs - 10, 10, 25
Daily work done. Rain didn’t clear in time, so I actually swapped in Saturday’s DB snatches—I’ll save the plate ground-to-overheads for tomorrow, when I also push the sled, and I’ll get the sled up-and-over on Saturday.

An unremarkable day—just wanted to do the work. Actually, I didn’t really WANT to do the work. But I did it anyway.
Deadlift sets in 30 minutes, press sets in 22 minutes. Used straps on the last set of deads, and decided to go for 10 after I finished the 5th and found myself pulling a 6th. Good solid form on all of those today, but my HR was up in that last set. Same thing happened with the 3rd press set: felt like I could get 10, so I did. Did not have 15 clean reps in me by that point, however, so I capped it there.
Daily work and a sled push will follow throughout the remainder of the day.

Workout: Daily work + hard conditioning, 1215-1230 + 1525-1600 (15 + 35 minutes)
3 rounds of:
a) Plate ground-to-overhead - 45 lbs - 30, 30, 40
b) Pendlay rows - 120 lbs - 10, 10, 25
10 rounds of:
a) Sled push - 50 yds, 135 + sled = 222 lbs
b) 8 DB front squats - 2x30 lbs
c) 15 shrugs - 2x65 lbs
Time: 26:56
Original plan was 3x25, took first set to 30 just because, so then it became 3x30, but I got to the third set and decided I wanted 100 reps—good stuff. That’s a great yoke burner, for sure, but the 150 shrugs later are going to be interesting…
Edit: That’s it, folks: I’m spent! I was way below 2:30 per round for the first 5, but then I started to fall off. Even so, it was a super-good effort today, ended up at about 2:42 per round on average (assuming my math is correct, which is dangerous!).
I keep forgetting how much i love this movement.
My neck hurts reading this……

Kids’ summer swim league championships today. Our team hosts, so it was a long evening setting up, and it’ll be a long day at the pool. But both kids were selected to swim three events (maximum allowed), so that’s exciting.
Then we have the team banquet this evening, and it’s Mrs. SvenG’s birthday today—we’ll actually celebrate that tomorrow with filet mignon. Point is: I anticipate consuming lots of (mostly good) calories throughout the weekend. Good thing, too, because I’ve got squat TM testing on Monday!
Sounds like a good enough excuse to eat all the calories this weekend!

Workout: Calves & daily work + BB curls, 1440-1530 + 1705-1715 (50 + 10 minutes)
Jump rope - 300+ reps
3 rounds of:
a) Sled ground-to-overhead - about 70 lbs - 10, 10, 30
b) Kroc rows - L/R - 65 lbs - 10, 10, 25
c) Belted CR - 135 - 30, 25, 20
Jump rope - 300+ reps
BB curls - 130 (rep PR)
Kiddos rocked this morning! My daughter’s relays had a first place finish and two fourth place finishes (out of 5 teams), and my son’s relays had two first place finishes and a fourth. The summer league features mostly relays, and they certainly pulled their weight today. The team took second place overall!
Meet was actually done rather early, but teardown took forever. I didn’t get lunch and I was lugging heavy stuff down to the sheds most of the time, so I was pretty hungry and tired coming into this workout. It didn’t help that I was in full sun all morning, either: my arms got sunburned, which then got a sunburn itself, haha! Anyway, I managed to knock out this afternoon’s work once we got home. I put a decent level of effort into it, which is good, and now all I’ve got are barbell curls.
Then… ALL the calories! (@hillbillyk, @Frank_C)
Edit: Not my strongest showing—I somehow clocked myself in the chin at some point during the first 50 or so reps (!) and I ended up taking lots of short pauses at the top after that—but they’re done. I was probably feeling the lack of food, too. Anyway, it took about 5:52 from start to finish. But done is done, so now we feast!
