Workout: Vacation day 4, stuff 1
a) Thruster - 20 - 5 rounds, 20, 20, 20, 15, 10 = 85 total, EMOM
b1) BPA - red - 15, 12, 12, 12 = 51 total
b2) Push-up - 25, 25, 25, 25 = 100 total
b3) OA KB row - 20 kg - 15, 12, 12, 12 = 51 total
Wow! What is wrong with my body this morning?
I slept poorly and was up about an hour early—too much junk yesterday evening, gut was talking back—but… Wow!
Really struggled with thrusters: aiming for 20 reps in each round, barely got 20 in 3rd, couldn’t get more than 15 in 4th, and died just getting 10 in 5th. Pathetic.
Even the remaining circuit was tough, push-ups particularly so. Tried to go back-to-back through all four rounds, but had to take a 2-minute break between 3rd and 4th. Kinda fell across the finish line, but I did, in fact, finish.
We’re taking a bit of a road trip today, so I don’t know what other work I’ll get done. I’d like to do some more rows, and maybe some lunges or air squats or something; hopefully there’s time for that this afternoon. None of that should really take too long.
For now, I’m just going to struggle up the stairs and hydrate…
