One more day!! I’m excited, but also sad. The workouts have really grown on me, but i also know that it’s time to move on to something even more challenging.
ALLLLL DOOOONNNEEE!! And now I am a BEAST! hahahahaha, yea right. I still have a long ways to go and this program has actually created so many new goals for me. That is one thing I LOVE about weightlifting, the you never stop pushing yourself. My closing thoughts about the program: if you are a girl and you do want to become a beast, this program is far from being just for guys. Do it. You’ll love it.
Also, a picture of my current bod after Beast Building. My hope is to test out one rep maxes this Friday with videos to come.
As promised, one rep maxes were tested on Friday and here are the videos: first up, 245 box squat. IMO, very disappointing. My ‘parallel’ measure was higher than I thought after I saw the video I’ll fix that next time.
Not sure why I didn’t go for 280 after the 275, but I went for 285 instead and just couldn’t get it up without straps. so i continued, with straps, to get 285 and 290 up and here is my 300.
and the much less impressive upper body lifts. here’s my 115 bench. at this point I was so disappointed with myself that my boyfriend had to keep reminding me that we haven’t necessarily been training for strength, especially during the last month.
