BCS National Championship Game!

GO LSU!

It’s looking to be a good game! Currently tied (10-10) in the top of the second quarter. Ohio State is playing much better this year than last. Chris Wells is doing great for OSU. It’ll be interesting to see what type of plays LSU uses in this game and if they have more “go for it on fourth down” plays.

I’ll be pulling for LSU as I want the SEC to win another big bowl game and keep the championship in our backyard. But it won’t be easy, as OSU has prepared for this game much better and is pulling out some good plays so far. I’m impressed.

I’m watching. Good game so far. Chris Wells is a stud, but Ohio State is struggling with LSU’s spread.

24-10 LSU at halftime.

Geaux Tigers!!!

Someone please explain to me the football-centric rationale for the lack of a playoff?

USC, LSU and Georgia were clearly playing the best football at the end of the year. Kansas and West Virginia had an outside shot. Ohio State might have been the 6th best team… So frustrating…

How about those Tigers and the overrated SEC? The win was much bigger than the score reflectd. LSU easily handled OSU.

OSU 0-9 against the SEC in bowl games. A second BCS National Championship belongs to the SEC. Woo hoo!

LSU WON! GEAUX TIGERS!

I’m glad LSU won, but it wasn’t the complete slaughter I’d hoped for.

There is no football centric rationale for the current system. It’s all about short-sighted University presidents who don’t want to lose the money that their little bowl games bring in.

Yea baby 2008 national champs !!

BCS stands for Buckeyes Can Suck-it.

From espn.com:

“They didn’t fight back like an SEC team would do,” said LSU safety Harry Coleman, who filled in superbly for injured All-American Craig Steltz.

That about sums it up. 3/4 of LSU’s Conference schedule is against Ohio State caliber teams. Ohio State hadn’t faced an SEC caliber team all year.

Geeeaaaauuuux Ti-GERS!!

I know I was totally shocked by the outcome. Whose dick does OSU suck to earn the right to get their ass kicked in the BCS Championship two years in a row?
