Hey guys, I’m going to be cutting a few pounds a week for a few weeks in order to fit in to a weight-class with as little water manipulation as possible.
I figure if I lose this slowly as well as use BCAAs along with a good solid diet, I can lose this weight with close to zero muscle loss.
Because ill only be doing this for a few weeks, the dosing of the BCAAs is completely open as money isn’t really an object.
Thibs recommended taking 10 gram servings, 5 times a day (first thing in the morning, between meals, around your workout and before bed), but are the servings after the workout and before bed really necessary if your having a post workout carb+whey shake right after the workout and a casein shake right before bed?

If money isn’t the issue then why are you worried about “necessary”? Just listen to CT and take the 50g a day, and if you get a little more what’s hurt? I haven’t heard of anyone overdosing on BCAA’s lately.
When I made heavy use of BCAAs during my last contest prep, I would toss about 20-30g in a gallon of water to sip throughout the day, 15g + 5g Leucine in my peri-workout water bottle, and then would add an extra 5g Leucine to my pre-bed feeding as well as an extra 5g in my morning oatmeal as well.
