BCAA With Protein Shake

I know you shouldn’t take BCAAs with food, but it seems that some on this site like to take it with their PWO shake. Is this OK to do, or will the BCAA absorption be hindered?

Also, I take Surge PWO. After an intense workout, would additional BCAAs be beneficial to the amount already in Surge, or would it be a waste??

It’s convenient to pop the pills before and/or during the workout, and than start pounding the Surge right as you’re finishing your workout. That’s how I’ve been doing it and it works fine.

I like to take a pre-workout shake as well as a post-workout shake, so what I’m wondering is if I can pop Biotest BCAA pills with my shakes. You say you take BCAAs peri-workout, so I assume you have a shake about 30 minutes or so of the pills. Is this enough time for tbe BCAAs to absorb (if in fact protein shakes do hinder their digestion?)?
