BCAA Comparison?

I realize T-Nation sells BCAAs however, it is a bit expensive for my pocketbook.

I’ve been taking scivation Xtend, and am happy with it. However, never having used another brand, not sure if there are better products. saw Monster Amino by cytosport, looks like they’ve got a new “recipe”, and it’s on sale at a certain site.

i train fasted, with BCAAs, which would you suggest?

I’d like a scientific/biological reasoning, i.e. BCAA ratios, and which BCAAs are present.

any feedback/experiences to share?

take a look at recover-pro its the cheapest i have been able to find, tastes pretty good to. 4-1-1 ratio

Theres a reason extend is popular. Biotest’s amino’s dont appeal to me because I would have to put them into another drink like their MAG-10 or use a seperate flavouring to use them peri-workout like I do.

Scivation is a disgrace. MAG-10 is legit. Slightly cheaper, would be Intek. Legit and tasty as fuck. You might only be able to find it online, or at whatever they’re calling Nutri-shop these days.

Look at true protein’s ( i think they are now true nutrition) BCAA mixes called BCAA boost and BCAA plus

Second that, BCAA plus. Only problem is flavor is ok (but it kind of grows on you) and the solubility/mixability is kind of poor.

This. I mix the BCAA Plus with a pre-w/o drink from same company. Can’t beat the price.

What makes you say Scivation’s bcaa’s are a disgrace?

I had the scivation bcaa before and the taste was awesome. No bitterness.

I like the Biotest BCAA’s with the new Crystal Lite that uses Stevia (lemonade flavor).

As much as it pains me to say it, I also like BSN AminoX, 10g of BCAA’s per serving, great flavor, and mixes easily. I generally dispise BSN but I’ll admit when they come out with something decent.
