I still have to see Skyline and Battle, though. I keep my expectations low on such movies, but they are fun regardless. And whomever it was that said ID4 sucked most likely had a front row seat when it came out, and saw it multiple times. Probably still able to recite damn near every one-liner in that movie. Haters…

Saw it tonight, was better than expected, I say lower your expectations for a bit and go enjoy it. The dialogue at times sucked, but IMO the action and fighting was done extremely well

I think he was still salty about his brother. I don’t think it had anything to do with his own situation.
I thought it was more of a “the USMC is the best” movie. Which, if it is based around Marines, you would expect that, since they are generally pretty gung ho about being Marines.

The point was he thought that Nantz has essentially thrown away his brothers life while Nantz saved his own, and he was (still) salty about that and finally said it out loud
