The fact that everyone keeps bringing up magnetism has forced me to point out that as far as I know adamantium is not ferromagnetic - not affected by normal magnetism. Magneto can manipulate adamantium as he can manipulate all metals, batman on the other hand, cannot. He is limited by science.
Any bigger marvel nerds feel free to correct me.
Ok, as a metallurgist and nerd Iāll chime in here. Regardless of if the metal is ferromagnetic it can be manipulated (moved and melted) with a magnetic field. We do this at work everyday using an induction furnace to melt aluminum, titanium and magnesium. While they tend to claim you cant melt adamantium a second time, you could easily make a strong enough magnetic or acoustic force field (in a comic universe or any sci fi) to render wolverine immobileā¦
After that I would put him on a rocket and shoot him at the sun⦠I would like to see his healing factor handle them applesā¦
While we are on the topic⦠Iron man v wolverine?? I would go with Iron man since he could have the nanites stop the healing factor then do something similiar to what I just said⦠or hit him hard enough in the head to cause brain damage that the healing factor canāt stop.

Fuck, if you want great, GREAT comics, read Secret Six. Hands down, one of the five best books being put out.
Bane, Catman, Deadshot, Scandal Savage, Rag Doll, and that crazy chick.
Gail Simone and Ed Benes run on āBirds of Preyā. Excellent stories, witty dialogue, beautiful women.
BUMP because someone else bumped it.

Wolverine is such a bitch. Thatās why Sabretooth raped his woman, killed her, and then kicked his ass annually for the next 20 years.
Sabretooth > Wolverine

Or Iron Man flies above him and blasts him to death. Simple.

I have to agree with you about what youāve said about Wolverine being overexposed. Heās gotten pussified through the years. Heāll always be a favorite, though.
Iāve always been a fan of Sabertooth, also. But, I wasnāt happy when they putting the pussy treament on him in the āExilesā series.

You just gained some cool points, Hungry.
Haha Wol youāre still going on this thread? I agree Sabretooth is way more badass than Wolverine. Did any fools eventually come around to the fact that Batman would totally dick on Wolverine?
Iron Man vs Wolverine is no contest, for the same reasons as Batman vs Wolverineā¦or any character who has any ranged attacking power vs Wolverine.

Someone else bumped it, I just played along.
Though I am a fan of Wolverine what I always admired about him was the fact that power-wise he was outclassed by most other mutants but that never stopped him from going into fight anyway. And I think his regenerative capabilities became more and more extreme over the years, possibly to the point of foolishness.
Batman and wolverine are both similar. Both have to rely on training, determination and skill rather than some awesome super power in a fight. Both have to fight their darker temptations. Both are driven by a haunted past.
Also, I always had the impression the āIām wolverine Iām always angry and dumbā was not his true self but some sort of put on, a way for everyone around him to underestimate him.

You donāt think being virtually indestructible is an awesome super power?

OH DEAR. Wolverine is only āvirtually indestructibleā in the dumbass movies and in the hands of writers with too little integrity to have Wolverine be involved in any sort of peril or gasp lose a fight.
Batman wins.

I was thinking about ultimate hulk vs. wolverine. Where Nick Fury explained all the ways Wolvie couldnāt die.
