Since I donā€™t see much quality difference, I just go with big bag-o-rice.

If I want to spruce it up a little Iā€™ll cook it in beef or chicken broth and season according to its purpose.

Recently started using orange and lemon extracts too for like chicken stir fry & stuff.

Jasmine (white or white and brown mixed). I steam it in my awesome zojirushi rice maker, usually 6 cups at a time so I have a weekā€™s worth.
