Barack Obama: My Candidate.

Eliminating the IRS, balancing the budget, and a policy of non-intervention in foreign affairs seems pretty new to me.

Look up Ron Paul on YouTube.

You haven’t been around long, have you? Flat tax anyone? National sales tax?

Balancing the budget is part of EVERY campaign.

There are plenty of things that can be inferred from that, and one of them is that Obama doesn’t have the gravitas to make tough decisions that an executive must make without dissecting polls.

Obama has shown a propensity to avoid tough decisions. In a world where Islamist maniacs, Russian thugs, Venezuelan fascists, and North Korean communists all want to set the table according to their plans, we require better than a “present” vote.

Anyone with a functioning brain stem knew and understood TGun’s point - that leaves you where?

Lixy is waiting for someone to post that there is the threat of an act of (islamic) terrorism against the US, and that Obama would be confronted with how to deal with it (such as when Obama was asked about going after al qaeda in Pakistan).

Then he can go into his “US had it coming” rant ad nauseam.

It frustrates him that you’re not taking his bait. He has all his answers prepared for you.

Tokoya, I think you are exactly right.

You could have a thread about the Superbowl, and he would still find a way to shoehorn in a post about the Gaza strip or Bush. From the kaleidoscope if his dorm room or (govt. subsidized) housing in Sweden, he can provide you with all the answers you need to solve the world’s problems.

Mickey Kaus questions how exactly Obama is new and not just another unreconstructed lefty:

Here’s why Obama is so popular with young (potential) voters. He sounds just like The Rock.

Can you smell what Barack is cookin’?

It will be his undoing. The young don’t vote. Even Obama girl didn’t vote for him in the primary.

On Obama and the economy:

Sounds like big government and a lot of wealth transfer to me.

How about $150 billion for “green collar” jobs?

Obama spend-o-meter.

And lets not forget that he is the most liberal member of the senate. Ahead of self-proclaimed SOCIALIST Bernie Sanders.

His policies are out there, you just have to search a little to find them.

That’s why I put potential in parentheses. Young people love him, and Ron Paul for that matter, but young people just don’t vote. They just whine, I mean complain.
