So last couple weeks I’ve been working through a cutting program and nutritionally, I’m hitting my targets for calories, carbs, and protein, but my fats are not balanced between polys, mono and sats. It’s about 1:2:2 (30g, 60g, 60g) ratio right now.
I do take 12g of fish oil (including a serving of Flameout), 2 tablespoons of flaxseeds, walnuts, and eat canned salmon or tuna every day. All this is expensive enough, and part of the reason here is that as I’m cutting I’m keeping carbs to 30g a day (except for one day a week) so my fats (total 160g) have to high and there’s only so many sources of poly fatty acids.
So any particular advice for this? I guess I could take more fish oil capsules, but other, cheaper sources would be great. Or is the whole fatty acid balance not something to worry about too much on a low-carb diet because of the challenge of doing it?
Thanks
