Anyone watching When We Left Earth? It is on the Discovery channel. Man, this show is like crack, so good, it is one of those shows that when the commercials come on, you get really annoyed.
I am totally in awe of the space program, these people do fantastic work. And to actually be an astronaut, moving alongside the space shuttle 300 miles above Earth? I couldn’t even begin to imagine what something like that would be like.

If at some point in my life time they begin to charter trips into space, I wouldn’t care if I had to cash out my retirement fund, I would so be there.

First I thought this was funny…then I thought
“Hey wait, are we not already IN space? -part of space?”
Then I thought…(it always takes me three dots to think -don’t know why) Then I thought…“What IS space anyway? -How is it defined?”
So, here ya go (from Wiki):
Space is the boundless extent within which matter is physically extended and objects and events have positions relative to one another[1].
Physical space is often conceived in three linear dimensions, although modern physicists usually consider it, with time, to be part of the boundless four-dimensional continuum known as spacetime.
In mathematics spaces with different numbers of dimensions and with different underlying structures can be examined.
The concept of space is considered to be of fundamental importance to an understanding of the universe although disagreement continues between philosophers over whether it is itself an entity, a relationship between entities, or part of a conceptual framework.

“BOUNDLESS” …ya hear that? Good grief!
Now I feel like I’ve learned something…
Thanks OG!
By the way…how cool are you that you’re known as “OG”
I’d kill for a moniker like that!
